The party says Aisha Buhari’s revelation has further shown that the PDP has not been crying wolf by insisting that President Muhammadu Buhari must account for the trillions of naira stolen under his watch in the last four years.      25th May 2019 In compliance with the Supreme Court Judgment regarding the candidates fielded by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State for the 2019 General Elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the winners of the Governorship, National and State Assembly elections. They are all candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) except Kabiru Hashimu, representing Maru South State Constituency, who was elected under the sponsorship of the National Rescue Movement Party (NRM).      The Bishop of the Diocese of Ibadan, Anglican Communion, Most Revd Joseph Akinfenwa, on Sunday, said that posterity would remember the Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, for reinventing the state during his two-term tenure of eight years. Unlike some political leaders, he said the governor deserves commendation for not taking the state on what he called a merry-go-round of leadership cluelessness, brigandage and policy somersault, which, he said, had beset the state before he took over in 2011.       The Air Component of Operation HADARIN DAJI has destroyed an armed bandits’ camp and neutralized dozens of bandits in air strikes conducted at Doumbourou Forest in Zamfara State. The operation was executed yesterday, 25 May 2019, pursuant to human intelligence (HUMINT) reports indicating that some locations within the Forest were being used by the armed bandits as hideouts, incl uding a group of huts belonging to a notorious kingpin named “Dangote”. Accordingly, following confirmatory Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), an Alpha Jet aircraft was detailed to attack the armed bandits’ camp leading to the destruction of their structures and neutralization of close to two dozen bandits. The NAF, working in consonance with other security agencies, will sustain its operations to flush the bandits out of the Northwest of the Country.
