OSUN: ADELEKE, ASSEMBLY LOSE AS COURT AFFIRMS JUSTICE OJI AS CHIEF JUDGE. (PHOTO).

 Osun: Adeleke, Assembly lose as court affirms Justice Ojo as Chief Judge The National Industrial Court sitting in Ibadan has affirmed Justice Adepele Ojo as the Chief Judge of Osun State. The decision was contained in a judgment delivered by Justice Peters in a suit numbered NICN/IB/62/2023, on Wednesday in Ibadan. The court granted all the reliefs sought by the Osun Chief Judge against the Osun State Government and Osun State House of Assembly, including an order of perpetual injunction restraining both the executive and legislative arms of government from removing her as the number one judicial officer in the state. Matters came to a head between the Osun State Government and Justice Ojo in 2023 when the Osun Assembly passed a motion suspending her as Chief Judge of the state. PAKISTANI INTERIOR MINISTER SHOT TODAY AND WOUNDED IN A RALLY IN PUNJAB CITY.{PHOTOS}.

     According to BBC '' A gunman has shot and injured Pakistani Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal while he was visiting his constituency in the north-eastern city of Narowal. Mr Iqbal had just attended a rally in the Punjab city when he was hit at least once in the arm. He was taken to hospital and his life is not in danger. The attacker was arrested and is being questioned, officials said. The motive for the shooting is not yet clear. Pakistan is due to hold a general election on 15 July. Mr Iqbal is a senior member of the governing Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz).''  A senior government source told Reuters news agency that early information suggested Mr Iqbal had been returning from a meeting with a Christian group. "We are not sure whether it has got anything to do with the motive," the source said. "We will know only after investigation of the attacker."         A female student of University of Maiduguri, was caught trying to force down the toilet a new born baby she gave birth to. She killed the little Baby by herself, then tried to force her down the toilet before she was caught. The  Incident took place at Murtala female Hostel. Why are some ladies so wicked? RAIN STORM KILLED 5,INJURED CATHOLIC PRIEST AND 9 OTHERS IN JALINGO.{PHOTOS}.

      Barely two weeks since rainstorm destroyed several properties in Jalingo and Wukari, another tragedy occurred late Friday and the early hours of Saturday in Jalingo. The rains which were accompanied by strong winds has claimed several lives as a result of collapsed electric poles, buildings and telecommunication masts. Also, the Taraba State University, which was hugely affected in the last rainstorm, is once again affected. As at the time of writing this report, the entire Jalingo city is without electric light, while communication is generally affected perhaps due to damage to masts. No fewer than five people were feared killed in the early hours of today (Saturday), following a wind storm that accompanied an early morning rain in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital. The renovation when completed will b e handed over to Taraba State Government as part of activities to end the exercise in Taraba State on 13 May 2018. In a related development, a medical outreach and town hall meetings were also held in support of Ex AYEM AKPTUMA. During the medical outreach which was held at East Primary School, Wukari, a total of one thousand, three hundred and sixty eight (1368) persons were treated for various ailments during the 2 days exercise.
