 BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE 29/03/2025   To the editors, SALLAH CELEBRATION: Commissioner of Police Orders Comprehensive Security Measures and Deployment of Adequate personnels The Bauchi State Police Command extends warm greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of the 1446AH/2025 Eid-el-Fitr celebration, signifying the conclusion of the Ramadan fasting period. Under the distinguished leadership of Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, psc (+), mni, the Command is dedicated to implementing robust security measures and ensuring a conducive environment for prayer across the State. The safety of lives and property remains the highest priority for the Police. The Command has established extensive security protocols to achieve this objective, including deploying mufti-uniformed personnel for intelligence gathering.               According to sources,the counsel to Ex-Governor of Lagos state Bola Tinubu,Mr Tunji Abayomi said,a letter asking Daar Communications to appologise for the content and to stop the further airing of false allegation against him was delivered this afternoon,2nd of March 2015.The Part A of the letter reads ''You aired an hour long documentary forcussing on our client {Bola Tinubu}.Cleraly pre-occupied with political resentment and hatred neither warranted,necessary,proper,or justified.You published several false allegations against our client.More disturbing is your misrepresentation that said,the documentary was ''sponsored'',without disclosing the ''sponsors''.You cannot under law,hide under media freedom to maliciously injure a citizen's reputation''.The letter also demanded for N20billion {Twenty Billion Naira} as cost of damage done to the reputation of his client.Failing to comply,his client will sue the company.Read t...
