 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria.               According to sources,the counsel to Ex-Governor of Lagos state Bola Tinubu,Mr Tunji Abayomi said,a letter asking Daar Communications to appologise for the content and to stop the further airing of false allegation against him was delivered this afternoon,2nd of March 2015.The Part A of the letter reads ''You aired an hour long documentary forcussing on our client {Bola Tinubu}.Cleraly pre-occupied with political resentment and hatred neither warranted,necessary,proper,or justified.You published several false allegations against our client.More disturbing is your misrepresentation that said,the documentary was ''sponsored'',without disclosing the ''sponsors''.You cannot under law,hide under media freedom to maliciously injure a citizen's reputation''.The letter also demanded for N20billion {Twenty Billion Naira} as cost of damage done to the reputation of his client.Failing to comply,his client will sue the company.Read t

A NATIVE DOCTOR AKIN BABALOLA,DUPED A 70 YEAR OLD WOMAN,OVER A LOVE POTION.

                                                                                                                       According to sources,a 48 year old native doctor Akin Babalola,was arrested and charged before Ejigbo Magistrate court for allegedly defrauding a 70 year old woman,identified as Grace Dinah,who contacted the native doctor to prepare her love potion that will enable her win back her husband after years of separation in Lagos state.The Osun born native doctor allegedly collected N500,000 from Grace under false pretence of preparing the love potion for her.Instead of the native doctor to keep his own part of the bargain,he allegedly duped the womam,claiming he could not prepare such medicine which might cause the death of her estranged husband.Thpugh the woman denied that he asked the Akin the native doctor to prepare love potion for her.But it was gather that the 70 year old woman's husband dumped her and her children and married another woman some years ago,leaving
