 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. LAGOS MOVES TO CRIMINALISE POWER THEFT VANDALISATION.{PHOTOS}.

                           The Lagos State Government todaay tuesday said it has concluded plans to enact a law to specifically crminalise and punish severely persons who engage in power theft and vandalisation,expressing optimism that it would go a long way to tackle the menace headlong.Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources,Mr Olawale Oluwo,who said this at the ongoing Ministerial press briefing to commemorate the second year in office of Goverment was worried that its efforts to ensure streets of Lagos are well lit was being threatened by vandals.He said the Government had noticed a trend where some electricity infrastructures are damaged by hit and run motorists,saying that such was detrimental to the quest of the State to ensure that every nook and cranny of the State is lit.But he said the State Government was coming up with a law under its Embedded Power Initiative to protect public lighting infrastructu...

                                           The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,today tuesday arraigned one Dr Mrs Geraldine Orok Ita before Justice I.E Ekwo of the Federal High Court sitting in Calabar,Cross Rivers State on a nine-count charge bordering on forgery and uttering of documents.The defendant is alleged to have forged and uttered the signature of one Mrs Rose Orok Ita,in documents titled ''Resolutions'' filed at the Corporate Affairs Commission,CAC.The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to her.Based on her plea,the prosecution counsel,Esin Oto Ebipade asked the court to fix a date for trial.However,counsel to the defendant,CAC Efifi told the court that he has filed a bail application and prayed the court to grant bail to the defendant.He said the alleged offence were bailable and that the defendant will be available to face trial...

BORNO GOVERNMENT TO REHABILITATE FREED CHIBOK GIRLS.{PHOTOS}.

                 The Borno State Government says it will remain committed to partner with the Federal Government in the full rehabilitation and the education of the 82 Chibok girls that have recently been freed.Governor Kashim Shettima,who was reacting to the negotiation and release of the 82 abducted Chibok Schoolgirls in Maiduguri,said all Nigerians should cooperate with federal experts,who would have the task of counseling rehabilitating the girls.The Borno State Governor said the full rehabilitation of the girls was a collective priority,which the people should place first before any search for new insights.The Borno State Governor said the freedom of these Chibok girls had renewed the government's hope,as well as strengthened its faith in the commitment and capacity of President Muhammadu Buhari's administration to continue to work for the freedom of the remaining girls,who were still in capacity.He urged parents,whose daughter were not ...
