 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

EFCC ARRESTS ACCOUNTANT GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION FOR N80BILLION FRAUD. (PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

EFCC Arrests  Ahmed Idris, Accountant General of the Federation for N80billion Fraud Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  on Monday, May 16, 2022 arrested serving Accountant General of the Federation, Mr. Ahmed Idris in connection with  diversion of funds and money laundering  activities to the tune of N80billion (Eighty Billion Naira) only. The Commission’s verified intelligence showed that the AGF  raked off the funds through bogus consultancies and other illegal activities using proxies, family members and close associates. The funds were laundered through real estate investments in Kano and Abuja. Mr. Idris was arrested after failing to honour invitations by the EFCC to respond to issues connected to the fraudulent acts. One more photo below.

The terrorists were taken out today Monday 16 May 2022, while shooting sporadically, threatening lives and property of innocent citizens. The irate dissidents opened fire on sighting the patrol team, who were out to ensure safety and security of lives and property of citizens. JUBILATION AS AIRCRAFTS LANDED IN YOBE AIRPORT FOR THE FIRST TIME.(PHOTOS).

Jubilation in Yobe as for the first time aircrafts landed in the state's airport.  The new cargo international airport in Damaturu constructed by Gov Mai Mala Buni administration can also be used for conventional airport purpose.  Before this multi billion Naira project, Yobe used to be the only state in the Northeast without airport, neither federal nor state owned.  The cargo international airport in Damaturu is the second cargo airport in Northern Nigeria after that of Lafia.  The different aircrafts landed as 'test landing. NOLLYWOOD LOST ANOTHER ACTOR😭😭😭😭 Actor Leo Mezie dies after long battle with kidney disease Actor Leo Mezie is dead. He died on Saturday, May 14, after a long battle with kidney disease. The actor who had been battling a Kidney disease, had a transplant last week. However, he began to develop complications. Sadly, he lost the battle on Saturday.   His colleague, Chioma Toplis, announced his passing on social media this afternoon. ''Actor Leo Mezie is dead. He died on Saturday in Abuja while recovering from kidney transplant. His corpse has been moved to Umuahia his hometown. RIP Leo'' she wrote    May his soul rest in peace, Amen. More photos below.

Says Demolition of Structure Imminent   The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) has commenced the evacuation of a distressed five-floor building at No. 13/17 Breadfruit Street, Lagos, ahead of the planned demolition of the structure.   The General Manager of the Agency, Arc. Gbolahan Oki, explained that the evacuation exercise is in compliance with a Court Order that directed LASBCA to evacuate the occupants of the distressed building and seal it up for public safety.  Explaining further, Oki said: “Despite the court ruling since October 2021 and several pleas with the occupants to vacate the distressed building for safety purposes, the residents had remained unyielding, hence the decision of the State Government to enforce the ruling of the court”.    He reiterated that Lagosians should always endeavour to build by the rules and prioritise safety, warning that government would not hesitate to bring the full weight of the law on anyone trying to compromise its efforts at achie

Arsonists Burn Down LG Secretariat, Magistrate Court In Anambra Suspected arsonists have burnt down Idemili North Local Government secretariat in Ogidi and a Magistrate Court in the area. Sources said the arsonists entered the premises on Sunday night to perpetuate the act, burning down all files, properties in the secretariat, including the secretariat building. Videos and pictures circulating online showed that the entire buildings were reduced to rubbles, while vehicles parked inside the Local Government secretariat were also burnt to ashes. The State Police Command has also confirmed the development, attributing it to unidentified arsonists. DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, the spokesperson of the State Police Command said: “Yes, the incident was confirmed, and our men were there to restore normalcy. More photos below.

I just watched a video clip where the parents of Deborah Samuel said they will not be sending there children to school again. GOD FORBID. Anyone with there contacts should inform them immediately that I Apostle chibuzor chinyere the general overseas of OPM Church is relocating them to port harcourt. They would be staying in one of the OPM free estates were they will never pay rent forever. All there children are given automatic scholarship in OPM Free schools.
