 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria. PRESIDENT OF ROMANIA AWARDS PRINCE CHARLES WITH THE ''ORDER OF THE STAR OF ROMANIA''.{PHOTOS}.

                The Prince of Wale arrived in Bucherest two days ago for the royal visit in Romania.Over the past two days,Prince Charles has carried out engagements which include seeing examples of Romania's traditional cultural heritage,visiting the British Embassy to hear about the work being done to combat human trafficking and meetings with the President and Prime Minister.Today ,Prince Charles will spend his final day in Romania before The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrive in Florence for the Royal visit in Italy.The Prince was also pictured dancing with local women at the Village Museum in Bucherest.He viewed the traditional Romanian crafts at the Village Museum,lays a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Bucharest.The President of Romania Klaus Iohannis also awards The Prince with The Order of the Star of Romania,he also visited Vacaresti Nature Park and also met with Romanian Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu More photos below.

INDIAN PRIME MINISTER INCREASED THE PUNISHMENT FOR COW SLAUGHTER FROM 7 YEARS TO LIFE IMPRISONMENT TODAY.

                The news i just received is that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state of Gujarat on friday increased the punishment for cow slaughter from seven years to life imprisonment as Hindu hardliners push for tougher protections for the holy animal.Under the stiffened penalties passed by Gujarat's state assembly,anyone caught transporting cows for slaughter could also face up to 10 years in jail.Cows are considered sacred in Hindu-majority India,and their slaughter is illegal in most states.''A cow is not an animal.It is symbol of universal life.Anybody who does not spare the cow,the government will not spare him''.The amendment still needs the approval of the state governor-a formality all but assured-before becoming law.

                                          The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC Kaduna Zonal office,has arrested one Hussaini Mohammed of Tanko Road Barakallahu Kaduna State following a petition received from the Kaduna State Vigilance Service for alleged case of extortion,currency counterfeiting and impersonation of the Nigerian Police Force.The accused,Mohammed,is alleged to have on several occasions disgised as a Corporal in the Nigeria Police having collected monies in order to secure the release of suspects from the Police.He was caught in the act while tryiing to extort money from another party.
