 World Court to hear Sudan genocide case against United Arab Emirates The World Court said it would hear a case brought by Sudan demanding emergency measures against the United Arab Emirates and accusing the Gulf state of violating obligations under the Genocide Convention by arming paramilitary forces, Reuters reported. Sudan has accused the UAE of arming the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) which have been fighting the Sudanese army in a two-year-old civil war - a charge the UAE denies but U.N. experts and U.S. lawmakers have found credible. The Sudanese Armed Forces' actions at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) "are nothing more than a political game and publicity stunt - an attempt to drag a longstanding friend of Africa into the conflict they themselves have instigated and fuelled," a UAE official said.                The Lagos state government has alerted members of the public to the sale of fake Ebola kits,warning them not to patronise the dubious marketers.According to a statement signed by the Special Adviser on media to the Governor,Mr Hakeem Bello,said ''The Ebola test kit,which is branded as Rapid Response Canada with test results purportedly available in 10 minutes,is a hoax''.Mr Hakeem Bello further warned that there are no Ebola test kits manufactured anywhere in the world,as the technique for its manufacture does not exist yet.

NIGERIA GOVERNMENT IS STILL IN CONTROL OF BAMA-BORNO GOVT.

            Today wednesday,Borno state government and some vigilante groups said Bama town still remails under government control after being attacked by Boko Haram.The attack on Bama began on monday and tuesday,but the Nigerian military has remained silent on the matter since the attack began.Even the defense spokesman did not respond to requests for comment.The seizure of the town if true,would bring the rebels closer to the Borno state capital Maiduguri.It would also signal that they have shifted tactics to holding territory rather than simply creating mayhem.
