 Gov Uba Sani Announces Plan For Nigeria’s largest Inter-state Bus Terminal In Kaduna Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has unveiled plans to construct what he described as the largest inter-state bus terminal in Nigeria, both in scale and supporting infrastructure. The governor made the announcement on Sunday during the groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which will be located on a 20-hectare site along the Eastern Bypass in Chikun Local Government Area of the state. According to him, the ultra-modern facility will operate as a dual terminal capable of accommodating over 5,000 vehicles. It will be equipped with intelligent traffic management systems, advanced surveillance infrastructure, escalators and elevators to ensure easy access for all users, including the elderly and persons with disabilities.                                                       Eight month old Prince George the son of Prince William and Kate looks handsome as his mother held him tight as they walk down the stairs of the jet.William and Kate touch down at Wellington Airport the morning with their son Prince George.They briefly stooped over in Sydney where they were met by a New Zealand Airforce military jet.The family landing was delayed as the country has been hit by bad weather.They left the UK on saturday night on a scheduled Qantas flight,taking up the entire first class cabin.William and Kate will base their young son in Wellington,Sydney and Canberra during their three weeks tour.More pictures below.                                                 ...

2 FOREIGN UN WORKERS KILLED IN SOMALIA.

              According to an international broadcasting network,a Briton and a Frenchman working for the United Nations were shot dead today monday at an airport in north central Somalia.A,United Nation mission spokeman said it was not clear who was behind the killings.But one witness said the pair were attacked by a man in a police uniform while they sat in their car at Galkayo airport.The UN which has spent billions of dollars in Somalia since the out break of civil war 1991,has often been targeted by warring clan factions,most recently by Al Qaeda aligned Islamist group Al Shaab.Nicholas Kay,the UN special Representative for Somalia,condemed the callous killing but said the organization remaind committed to contiuing our vital support to the Somali people as they emerge from decades of conflict.
