 Court adjourns case seeking to sack 27 pro-Wike lawmakers A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt has adjourned till June 3, 2024 the hearing for a suit filed by members of the Rivers State Civil Society Organisation seeking to sack 27 lawmakers of the State House of Assembly. When the parties arrived at the Court for hearing on the matter on Friday, the Clerk of the court informed them that the Judge, Justice Stephen Daylop Pam was indisposed and a new date was picked. The CSO’s had approached the court to seek interpretation of Section 109 of the 1999 Constitution and whether the lawmakers, who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress still have legal rights to remain as lawmakers of their constituencies. The CSO’s led by the Rivers State Chairman, Enefaa Georgewill also want the court to restrain Governor Siminalayi Fubara from representing the 2024 budget to the lawmakers who defected.                The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC on May 16,2017 arraigned the duo of Murtala Salisu,Acting Director,Works,Gombe State University,Sanusi Sani Abdulihi,Director,Engineering Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe and SST Nig.Ltd before Justice B.L Iliya of the Gombe State High Court on an eight count charge bordering on diversion of public funds and abuse of office to the tune of N19million.Their arraignment followed a petion to EFCC,Gombe Zonal office by concerned staff of the Gombe State University alleging that the accused persons fraudulently manipulated and issued contract awards letters especially on consulting job which was suppose to be issued by the registrar of the University.It was also alleged that contracts emanating from Tetfund including special intervention and NEED's Assessment were strictly awarded to cronies and friends of the accused without following due process.After thorough investigation by the EFCC,it was discovered that the first accu

                                      Extended half tops are in vogue and guess what,it makes you look chic and it is not compulsory to show off your tummy/belly button.The recent half tops now have rubbers sewn at the edge so that you can adjust it the way you want.Some times when you wear it with a long or short skirt,it will look like a gown.If you wear it with Denim,pants {trousers},shorts etc,you can leave it extended or just adjust the rubber at the edge and your flat tummy will show. On sunday i decided to wear a navy blue print kitty cat half top blouse,with a long orange skirt.I carried a a navy blue purse/transparent navy blue heels,blue sun shades with silver accessories.More photos below.

GOVERNOR AMBODE OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED THE PERMANENT REMOVAL OF ''VIO'' FROM LAGOS ROADS TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

                Today tuesday,the Governor of Ambode said during the commissioning of Ojodu Berger Pedestrian Bridges etc,stated categorically that he has asked the Vehicle Inspection Officers {VIO} to stay off the roads permanently.The Governor also also urged the Federal Road Safety Corps,FRSC,to limit its operations to the fringes and highways and stay clear from the main streets of the state.He said the decisions were in line with his administration's resolve to ensure free flow of traffic across Lagos,noting that their activities were contributing to traffic congestion on Lagos roads.''Distinguished ladies and getlemen,let me use this opportunity to reiterate that Vehicle Inspection Officers {VIO} have been asked to stay off our roads permanently,''Mr Ambode began at the event.''We also advice the Federal Road Safety Corps to stay on the fringes and highways and not on the main streets of Lagos.It has become evident that these agencies contribute to the

UPDATE ON A BOY ARRESTED BY POLICE IN ASABA,DELTA STATE.{PHOTO}.

                                                    The Facts of the case: On Saturday,13 May,2017 at about 5:35pm a Mother {name withheld} to 'B' Division Police Station Asaba,Delta State and reported that one of her female neighbours name {withheld} came with her 13 year old son {referred to as 9yr-old Clinton in the viral post} to her shop.That the said neighbour ordered 13yr-old Clinton to slap her own 9yr-old son which Clinton did and also damaged goods worth N2,450 in her shop.{Attached is photo Extract from Crime Diary of the Incident as recorded by 'B' Division Asaba}. Findings: A case of Assult and malicious damaged was lodged against 13yr-old,Clinton and his Mother.The said Clinton is a Jss 3 Student of a Secondary School in the area and not a 9yr-old boy.
