 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                19 hours after David Cameron cut his holiday short because of a U.S journalist James Folley that was killed by a British Isis Islamic member,David Cameron was seen swimming with his board.Opponents have accused the Prime Minister of complacency over the Iraq crisis and have publicly demanded that he returns back to his office to get a grip on the developing crisis in Iraq.He returned on wednesday morning following the brutal execution of the hostage but went back to the west country just 19 hours later.More photos below.

MARIAH CAREY SERVES NICK CANNON WITH LEGAL AGREEMENTS THAT BARS HIM FROM GIVING OUT DETAILS OF THEIR DIVORCE.

                 Following the reports that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon six year old marriage had crashed,Mariah Carey hit Nick Cannon with a legal agreement which bars him from talking about their imminent divorce.There lawyer's struck up a confidentiality agreement,which bars him from sharing details of the divorce or else Nick will face severe financial penalties.Mariah Carey has also retained the rights to announce the split on their own terms.Sources claimed that they have been living in separate houses for few months now.After debunking rumours that cheating caused the breakup,Nick said his three year old twin children are his main focus.Nick really needs the ice bucket challenge now or never to help him go through his divorce.More photos below.

             These Ice Bucket  Challenge that started in America where by celebrities will be poured ice bucket of water to raise money for charity.People Oprah,Bill Gates and some other Hollywood celebrities have taken up the challenge.Now the challenge has extended to Africa and some of our celebrities are kicking against it people like Yvonne Nelso,Charles Novia,Joselyn Dumas are kicking against it but people like Davido,Don Jazzy,Genevieve Nnaji,Iyanya etc had been poured with Ice Bucket of water already.Lets tell ourselves the truth,whats the health implication after being poured with ice bucket of water?,just all in the name of charity i will fall sick afterwards and i will still donate my money.We should be smart about what kind of competition or challenges we involve ourselves.Don't forget there is Ebola,the person pouring you that water might be infected.Read Yvonne Nelson's messages below.

25 PEOPLE KILLED IN A COLLAPSED GOLD MINE IN CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC.

             According to Ahmat Negat,spokesman for Muslim Seleka rebels,said today that at least 25 people have died in a collapse at a gold mine,60 km north of the Central African Republic town of Bam Bari.The mine is originally owned by Canada's Axmin but was overrun by rebels more than a year ago and it now forms part of an illicit economy driving sectarian conflict in the country.The incident happened yesterday thursday but they are suspecting it was 27 artisan miners that were buried i the collapsed mine,but only 25 bodies were retrieved.According to Georges Yacinth Oubaouba,a senior official in the ministry of mines said ''Nobody from our service is on the ground to regulate the miners,so they dug without any rules,lower than 3 meters which got dangerous and with the rain,there can be collapses.
