EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

JOE GIUDICE LANDS MULTIPLE TV DEALS,DESPITE HE OWES THE U.S GOVT $400,000 IN FRAUD+41 MONTHS JAIL TERM.

                       Bravo TV is already preparing multiple episodes of a new show,showing Joe Giudice as a single dad with his four daughters,after his wife Teresa Giudice Real wives of New Jersey star,was sentenced to jail.Rumors has it that there will bea special episode that will include scenes from their 14 year old daughter Gia's middle school graduation,as well as outings with their other daughters 10 year old Gabriella,Milania 9,5 year old Audriana and his sister inlaw MelissaGorga.Joe Giudice will soon begin his 41month sentence,after Teresa completes her 15 months in Danbury,Conn.Though the absence of Teresa whom her kids visit frequently in jail,is felt by all.Joe Guidice seems to have handled the managing of his daughters busy schedules well for the meantime.One more photo below.                                                                               

RWANDA PRESIDENT PAUL KAGAME,TO RUN FOR THIRD TERM AFTER BEING SUPPORTED BY LAWMAKERS TODAY.

                       Today tuesday,Rwanda lawmakers backed a motion to let President Paul Kagame,to run fora third term in office,paving the way fora referendum to amen the constitution.Rwanda's President whose ruling party has controlled the country for the last decade,has not directly said he wants to run again.But he has said he is open to persuasion that the two term limit in the constitution needed to be changed,and a petition to that effect has collected 3.8 million signatures.Members of parliament voted unanimously to back the petition,said Speaker Donatille  Mukabalisa,adding that a referendum would be called on whether to amend the constitution.''We've started the process to the referendum.We should't delay the process''.Sppouters of the petition saidKagame was the right person to lead their country.The petitioners hail president Kagame for having stopped the genocide and bringing quick economic recovery.

MUSICIAN ORISE FEMI,HOSPITALIZED IN LEKKI.

           Today tuesday,it was reported by eyewitnesses,who were present at the scene,they said musician Orise Femi was rushed to the Premier Medical Specialist Centre in Lekki.Orise Femi was rushed to the hospital when he suddenly fell ill and everything had to be put on hold,including a video shoot he was supposed to start shooting yesterday monday.Sources claimed that Orise Femi has a health condition and this is not the first time he was suddenly rushed to the hospital,due to his health condition.May God heal him,Amen.  

A UNILAG LECTURER MR ARTHUR JOSEPH,WAS DETAINED RECENTLY FOR FIGHTING PUBLICLY WITH A LADY IN SOMOLU.

               47 year old Mr Arthur Avwokeni Joseph,a lecturer with the University of Lagos,was recently detained at Alade Police Station,Somolu,Lagos state Nigeria,after he allegedly fought a lady at a petrol station and tore her clothes.The lecturer works at the Business Administration Department of the University,went to a filling station along Fola Agoro Road,Somolu to buy fuel when there was an altercation between him and a28 year old lady Adeparusi Yetunde over who should buy the product first.Joseph was alleged to have alighted from his car and told Yetunde that if she were one of his students,he would have dealt with her.After the threat and further exchange of words between them,Joseph allegedly slapped Yetunde and in the ensuing scuffle her clothes were also torn.The lecture Joseph also seized Yetunde's cell phone while Yetunde also seized some of his books.Joseph then quickly went to Alade police station and reported the incident.When asked of the whereabouts of Yetunde

2 MORROCAN WOMEN WERE ACQUITTED TODAY,AFTER BEING ARRESTED FOR WEARING MINI SKIRT IN JUNE.

           According sources,two Moroccan women {Hairdressers} aged 23 and 29,have been acquitted of ''Gross indecency'' charges after they went on trial for wearing short skirts.The women were arrested on June 16 2015,in a market in lnezgane,near Agadir,after being heckled by market traders.Their case sparked a national outcry and an internet petition calling the arrest an attack on personal freedom,attracted thousands of signature.Defense Attorney Houcine Bekkar Sbai said ''This is a victory not only for these two women but for all members of civil society who mobilized''.Fouzia Assouli ,head of the LDDF women's rights organization,confirmed the acquittals handed down by a court in the southern city of Agadir said ''This acquittal is positive and shows that wearing this type of clothing {a skirt or dress} is not a crime''.One more photo below.
