  Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. EL-RUFAI VISITS FAMILIES OF SLAIN YOUTHS TODAY+ DECLARES CURFEW IN KWARU AND UNGWAN YERO.{PHOTOS}.

      The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has visited the families of two youths who were killed in a communal clash in Kwaru and Ungwan Yero communities earlier today. Both communities are in the Kaduna North local government area. During the visit, the governor listened to the families. While condoling them Malam El-Rufai expressed his sympathy and condemned the loss of innocent l ives. The governor assured the families that the law enforcement agencies have been directed to thoroughly investigate the killings, and to prosecute those involved. He appealed to the residents of the communities to reject division in the name of religion or ethnicity, and to uphold harmony in the area. Malam El-Rufai was accompanied by Deputy Governor Barnabas Yusuf Bala and senior government officials. SERIOUS ACCIDENT OCCURRED ALONG ONITSHA AWKA OLD ROAD AMAWBIA YESTERDAY.[PHOTOS}

      A very serious accident just occurred at Amawbia axis of Awka Onitsha Old Road, direct opposite Sumec Fil ling Station, Amawbia. The one vehicle incident occurred, when a Toyota Venza Sports Utility Car, traveling along other vehicles on a very high speed, lost control and crashed into a block of lock up stores, where the people of the neighborhood used to fetch water from a commercial borehole. Fortunately, Before this reporter could get to the scene, according to an eye witness the driver, of the Sport Utility Car, has been rescued from the wreacked car, that was smashed beyond recognition and taking to nearby hospital. Ordinarily, looking at the fraudulent letter, it should be easy to suspect it's intention. If not how will CUSTOMS be spelt CUSTOM, official letter head bearing Federal Government  before the Service name? Asking recruits to pay for training kits? Habaa.  Again, of all platforms, Nigeria Customs Service will choose Facebook or whatsApp to conduct recruitment exercise? certainly not true.
