 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

THE GHOST OF A 1582 WITCH CARRIED IN A STRETCHER,WAS PHOTOGRAPHED BY A RETIRED BRITISH POLICEMAN.

                         According to Mailonline,a retired policeman claims to have captured a picture of a ghost carrying the body of a witch on a stretcher.55 years old Chris Halton,was visiting one of Britain's most haunted houses called the ''Cage'' and he took the picture on Coffin Alley which runs behind the property.It was there he claimed to see a hooded figure clutching a stretcher and two fainter figures following after him.The Cage in St Osyth village in Essex,served as a prison for those convicted of witchcraft in thr Elizabethan era.Fourteen women were imprisoned while awaiting trial,including Ursula Kemp who was executed in 1582.She was reportedly the most powerful and notorious of all the women,making her living as a midwife and a healer.She has a reputation of removing spells from locals who though they were being attacked by black magic and many would go to her for medicines.The building was still being used as a jail right up until early 20th centu

5 PEOPLE DIED TODAY IN A GHASTLY ACCIDENT,ALONG LAGOS IBADAN EXPRESSWAY IN OGUN STATE.

                 Today tuesday five persons died in an accident involving a Mercedes Benz truck and a Mazda bus at Sagamu on the Lagos Ibadan Expressway in Ogun state.The Sector Commander of the  FRSC in Ogun state Mr Adegoke Adetunji who confirmed the incident said that the bus lost control and ran into the truck which was also on motion from the rear.23 people were involved in the accident,with five confirmed dead while 16 sustained injuries.The Mazda bus and the Mercedes Benz truck were travelling to Ibadan before they rammed into each other.''We understand that the bus,which was on a high speed,lost control and rammed into the moving truck and was torn into pieces because of its bad shape.The bus was not in good shape and was not supposed to be on the road.The corpses of the victims had been deposited at the Olabisi Onaabanjo University Teaching Hospital mortuary in Sagamu while the injured were also being treated in the health facility.

KOGI POLICE PATROL YESTERDAY RECOVERED ARMS FROM A CAR+PHOTOS FROM LAI MOHAMMED'S VISIT TO POLICE HEADQUARTERS.

               Yesterday monday the Nigerian Police at about 6:pm in Kogi state,Police patrol team while returning to base from day duty highway patrol,on reaching Oziokutu in Adavi Local Government Area stopped and searched an ash coloured Nissan Almera car with Registration number.Kogi LKJ 01 MW.The four {4} occupants of the vehicle suddenly stopped the vehicle and ran away when they saw the police vehicle approaching.The police recovered from the abandoned vehicles area one {1} AK-47 rifle with breech No.56-2.400577 with three {3} rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition,one {1} pump action gun with four {4} live cartridges and four {4} black masks.Recovered items were taken to the Police Station and the case is still under investigation.The Minister of Infformation Alhaji Lai Mohammed pays Police Force Headquarters in Abuja a visit today tuesday.More photos below.

                   I was watching the Golden Globes red carpet moments live on E! and i was really looking forward to see Jennifer Lopez's gown,when she stepped on the red carpet i was a bit little confused until she started her chat with Ryan Seacrest and i had the opportunity to access her very well.First i was disappointed in the choice of yellow and two the long jewelry is obvious is not part of the dress and it is too long.I would have loved a yellow dress with less drama and very simple jewelry.The shoe,her purse and her bracelet is very ok but is obvious she is very hot because her armpit is really wet.What do you think? and more photos below.

                                                                Today tuesday  the United Arab Emirates Energy Minister counters talks of potential emergency meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries {OPEC} after Emmanuel Ibe Kachukwu,the Nigerian oil minister said today tuesday that a couple of members had requested a gathering.However,UAE Energy Minister Suhail bin Mohammed al-Mazroui later told the same conference that the current OPEC strategy was working,adding that time was needed to allow this to happen perhaps between one and 1-1 and half years.''I'm not convinced OPEC alone can change or can solely unilaterally change this strategy just because we have seen a low in the market.While the first half of 2016 would be tough for the oil market,there would be a gradual recovery later in the year,aided by an expected drop in non-OPEC production''.The Nigerian minister did not specify which OPEC members wanting a meeting and said any such gat

AN AUSTRALIAN FAMILY,DIED IN A HORRIFIC HIGHWAY CRASH IN INDIA ON SUNDAY.

                    It was reported today tuesday that an Australian family died in a horrific highway crash in India while travelling to the Taj Mahai were nearing the end of a six week holiday to visit family when the tragedy occurred.Rupen Datts,a restaurant owner from Adelaide survived the crash on the Yamuna Expressway in the northen Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on sunday afternoon.But he is now faced with the devastating loss of his wife Anamika and their three children Neetika and Pipasa,aged 12 and 15,and son 20 year old Tirvijai and Anamika's sister 25 year old Sonia,all died in the crash.Also in the crashed Toyota Qualis were Mrs Datts's father,identified by police as NK Paliwal,and the driver,Shamblhu Paswan.Police said one of the vehicle's tyres burst about 3:30p,local time,causing the vehicle to crash into a safety barrier,then a road divider,before the vehicle overturned and landed on the incorrect side of the highway.A number of the victims were thrown from

               Twenty six year old Cecilia Bankole,a hairdresser and three others,were rescued from a suspected trafficker,Ganiyat Ajijola,who was arrested at Abule-Egba,Lagos by Rapid Response Squad {RRS} operatives,last friday.Her husband she said resisted her plan to abandon the children in search of a job in Libya.According to her when the issue was discussed with her husband initially,he disagreed with the plan.She said ''I told my husband to allow me to go so that i would have an opportunity to raise funds for the family.I pleaded with him but he insisted in having the custody of his children.Although i am a hairdresser but i have not graduated.So going to Libya to work as an artisan would enable me raise funds for my freedom as well as take care of my family.Even when my mother pleaded with him that she would be taking care of the children while i will be away,he still declined.However after much persuasion,my husband threatened that if i go,he would take the custody of
