       President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the families of the victims of the building collapse in Jos, Plateau State, which claimed lives. According to figures released by National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), 14 persons have so far died in the collapsed three-storey building in Delimi Community of Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau. Reacting to the incident, President Buhari said he was greatly shocked at the unfortunate loss of lives and wished those injured quick recovery. Commiserating with the survivors of the accident and families of the dead, President Buhari said: "I feel your pains at this difficult moment and my prayers, thoughts and empathy are with you as you struggle to overcome the shock of this misfortune."        The Supreme Court today Tuesday July 16th, dismissed the two suits filed by billionaire businessman and husband of actress Regina Daniels, Ned Nwoko, challenging the election of Senator Peter Nwaoboshi as the PDP candidate representing Delta North district in the October 2nd 2018 primary of the party held in Delta. The five-man panel of justices led by Justice Inyang Okoro, dismissed the suit for lack of jurisdiction. The Federal High Court in Abuja had in April declared Ned Nwokwo as the true candidate of the PDP for the February 23, 2019 National Assembly election. However on April 3rd, the Court of Appeal in Abuja reversed the High court's ruling which sacked Senator Nwaoboshi as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Delta North Senatorial seat. Unsatisfied by the judgement from the Court of Appeal, Nwoko filed a motion at the Supreme Court to challenge the decision of the Appeal Court, but has now lost the case.

      A Final year student of the Cross Rivers University of Technology CRUTECH, was shot dead yesterday morning at about 11.30am shortly after he finished his final year first semester examination. He was said to have been stepping out of the examination hall when he was accosted by some fierce looking men who shot him at close range. The men fled the scene immediately. Students of the institution believe it is a cult-related murder. The remains of the deceased has been taken to the state mortuary.       A Nigerian couple's photo was reportedly found inside a bottle that was thrown into a river in Abuja yesterday July 15th.       The Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has disclosed that Plans were underway to have a Chinese company invest in the agricultural sector of the state through the Public Private Partnership Program. Prince Abiodun who made this known in his office in Oke-Mosan, when he received a team from the Africa Development bank who were on 3 day visit to the state, said that his government was much aligned to investors coming in their large numbers into the state. The governor affirmed his administrations plan to backwardly integrate into the Central Bank of Nigeria frame work which he said was meant to ban the provision of foreign exchange to some food items.       Lagos State Government has inaugurated a seven-man committee to monitor, regulate and enforce quality compliance in Assisted Reproductive Technology (A.R.T) practice in the state.
