AS WE BEGIN OUR LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES FOR THE NEW YEAR,WE WILL NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE POLITICAL FRAY-SARAKI.{PHOTO}.

Senator Saraki post on his social media hour ago a photo with the caption '' As we begin our legislative activities for the new year, we will not get caught up in the political fray before due season. Each and every thing under the sun has its own time. This is Nigeria’s time. We will devote ourselves to her service. In this regard, we will speed up consideration on the various bills on which legislative work remains outstanding – particularly economic bills. We will also focus on the other parts of the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) related bills sti ll to be passed, namely: the Petroleum Industry Fiscal Bill and the Petroleum Host Community Bill. Our legislative duty to Nigeria and its people must be uppermost in our minds. We must not allow the upcoming 2019 elections to overshadow our work for the people that elected us - or distract us from that which we are mandated to do by the constitution and the trust reposed in us by the people. Therefore, I appeal to all p

WHY WE INSISTED ON RESPECT FOR CONSTITUTIONAL CHANGE IN THE GAMBIA – PRESIDENT BUHARI.

Image
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday in Abuja expressed disappointment that he and other leaders of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) had to use strong-arm tactics to get Yahya Jammeh, the former Gambian president out of office after failing to win re-election. “We had to go through those actions because it was the only option for Nigeria and ECOWAS,” President Buhari told Mr. Adama Barrow, the President of the Gambia who succeeded Jammeh. President Buhari recalled that in spite of all entreaties, the former President refused to accept the outcome of the election he superintended which was widely accepted as credible. “We thank God for the role He allowed us to play in the Gambia. We believe in multi-party democracy. In Africa, it is absolutely necessary but for the system to work and one to come out of it clean, there is need for patience. ‘‘Patience on the part of leaders is also necessary in view of ethnic and religious diversities th

YOU DON'T NEED NECKLACE ON ALL YOUR OUTFITS+MY COMPLETE SUNDAY LOOK.{PHOTOS}.

Image
Not every-time you need a necklace for your outfit and it depends on the nature of the material of your outfit. If your outfit the material is plain with no stripes or designs on it,you might choose to wear a necklace on your outfit so it will not look dull, depending on where you are going to,but if your outfit is choked to the neck and it is stripes, especially multicolour stripes,or flower design, you need to be careful on the kind of necklace you will wear on your outfit but my free advice is for you not to wear any necklace at all because your neck might look crowded.Less I forget,if you dress is white and black stripes, you can risk wearing a long black necklace on your outfit or around the neck of the dress or top, wear a white stud necklace that will make it look as if the necklace is sewn on the dress. On sunday I wore a dress a pinup dress, which is multicolour stripes, and the down is black, most people thought I was wearing skirt and blouse but it is actually a dress.I decided

RE:UNTOLD SECURITY,INTELLIGENCE CONUNDRUM OF THE BUHARI ADMINISTRATION.

Image
The attention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been drawn to ongoing campaign by agents of misinformation and destabilization as championed by reports published in Sahara Reporters, an online news report, entitled: Untold Security, Intelligence Conundrum Of The Buhari Administration, authored by a certain Sani Tukur. Ordinarily, we would have ignored the report and allow it to end up in the dustbin of history, for that is where it actually belongs, but for the fact that it is a follow–up to an earlier, similar, report also titled: EFCC’s Attempt To Arrest Abba Kyari Sparks Panic In Aso Rock, which we considered an attempt to silence the Commission from carrying on with its constitutional duties of fighting corruption; we have considered it necessary to clarify issues in relation thereof. The first report stated that Aso Rock Villa, the seat of the Nigerian Presidency, was, on penultimate Sunday, thrown into a panic, following an alarm by Mr. Abba Kyari,

Two soldiers on Monday slumped at the 2018 Armed Forces and Remembrance Day held at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, Anambra State. The two military personnel slumped while participating in a parade. Medical team including the Anambra State commissioner for Health, Dr Josephat Akabuike, attended to the victims before they were rushed to a hospital for more medical attention. An army source who pleaded anonymity told our correspondent that the victims might have been affected by what he called ‘sun-stroke’, resulting from heavy sunshine. He said, “It’s not unusual to see such occurrence during parades, more so under intense sunshine. We are hoping they would come back in the end. When contacted on the telephone, the Anambra State Commissioner of Health declined comment on the matter . He said, “Go on with your investigation. I will get back to you later.         Libyan returnees of Anambra States origin have successfully arrived in the state and have been received by the state government. The returnees were ten males and one female. The stories of the returnees were indeed better seen than imagined as they took turn to tell their traumatic, emotional and suicidal journey stories. According to a graduate of Applied Microbiology from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka who hailed from Ogidi Idemili North local government area, Mr. Ndubuisi Okwudiba, said he left with other Nigerians for Libya in 2016 and they went to the land of the dead in search of greener pastures but thanked God that they were alive to tell their pathetic stories as no event, no history. The Ogidi born applied Microbiology graduate regretted that many Nigerians are still languishing in various inhumane and underground prisons in the Arab nation that is extremely difficult to locate and commended the Federal and state government for coming to their rescu
