      The Governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has commissioned the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) office complex for Oyo State Sector Command, Ibadan, with a pledge to support the Corps to attain the target of 50% crash reduction by 2020 in line with the United Nations projection. Represented by the Deputy Governor, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, Governor Ajimobi charged the staff of FRSC Oyo State Sector Command to make the best use of the new facilities for enhanced productivity and bring traffic situations in the state under firm control.      About two thousand and thirty-four set of twins and tens of multiple births on Saturday converged in Igboora the capital of Ibarapa Central local Government area of Oyo State to participate in the maiden edition of the Oyo State Twins Festival. Some of the set of twins from the Local Governments in Ibadan converged at the Cultural Centre in Ibadan as earlier as 7am to join the train to Igboora to join counterparts from Oke-Ogun and Ibarapa zones at the Methodist grammar school, Igbo-Ora, Oyo State. The train from Ibadan was met at the entrance of Igboora-Ora town by the Local Government Officials and Traditional chiefs from the seven towns that make up Ibarapa where the State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr. Toye Arulogun laid the foundation of the twins tower to commemorate the festival.       The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, has tasked newly commissioned Nigerian Air Force (NAF) officers of Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Regular Course 65 to play their part in defending Nigeria’s territorial integrity as well as her national values and aspirations. The CAS stated this today, 13 October 2018, at NAF Base Kaduna while representing the President, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari, as the Special Guest of Honour at the pipping and oath taking ceremony of 62 graduating air force cadets.         1. The troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army under Operation Whirl Punch continue to clear Bandits, Kidnappers, recover arms and destroy their camps. On 9 October 2018, troops launched raid operation in Kamuku Forest where bandits used to harbour and plan their nefarious activities. Several were neutralised and the camps were destroyed. 2. In another successful operation, a combined effort between the troops and local Vigilante group raided an identified camp in Kidandan general area. As a result, one bandit was neutralised, others escaped with gun shots injuries and one AK 47 rifle with 25 rounds 7.62mm Special was recovered. 3.       The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rejects in its entirety, attempt by the Buhari Presidency to foist a full-blown fascism on our country, beginning with the placement of illegal travel restrictions on Nigerians. The party said this draconian step is clearly targeted at members of the opposition parties, perceived political enemies of President Muhammadu Buhari, well-meaning Nigerians, including members of the business community, religious leaders, former political leaders and traditional rulers, who are perceived to be averse to President Buhari’s re-election bid.
