  Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements. EFCC ARRESTED 3 MEN FOR INTERNET FRAUD YESTERDAY AT ISHERI NORTH,LAGOS STATE.{PHOTOS}.

        The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos zonal office, has arrested three suspected Internet fraudsters for conspiracy and possession of fraudulent documents. The suspects-Sylvester Osolase, 30; Seyi Ajayi, 36 and Monday Mayaki, 37 were arrested on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at River View Estate, Isheri North, Lagos State, following intelligence report received by the Commission about their activities. The suspects, who were de aling in romance and classified scams, confessed to have defrauded several unsuspecting victims around the world.They also confessed to have used proceeds of their illicit deals to buy cars, paid their rents and travel around the world.Items found on the suspects include laptops, cars, mobile phones and incriminating documents that were printed from their emails. The suspects will soon be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.One more photo below.

           According to Aljazera '' A Malian man in   France   has been hailed a hero and granted French citizenship after he scaled an apartment building to rescue a child dangling off a balcony. French President   Emmanuel Macron   announced that   Mamoudou Gassama, an  undocumented migrant, would become a "naturalised French" national and join the fire service, the AFP news agency reported on Monday. Gassama was filmed by crowds on the ground as he quickly climbed up four balconies to reach the toddler in distress. A couple in the neighbouring apartment, located in Paris' 18th Arrondissement, were trying to reach the child but were unable to lift the boy over to their side safely. When Gassama reached the child and pulled him to safety, the crowds gathered below broke out into rapturous applause. This twins were murdered by unknown person. The kids were forced into the fridge while the parents are busy looking for the kids thinking that they were kidnapped.         The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission today May 28, 2018 arraigned the former governor of Zamfara State, Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi alongside three others before Justice Fatima Murtala of the Federal High Court sitting in Zamfara on a 5-count charge of Conspiracy and Money Laundering.   Others charged alongside Shinkafi are the former Minister of State , Finance, Ambassador Bashir Yuguda, Aminu Ahmed Nahuche and Ib rahim Malaha. The defendants allegedly conspired and received a cash payment of N450,000,000 (Four Hundred and Fifty Million Naira ) part of the $115,000,000 (One Hundred and Fifteen Million Dollars) that was allegedly distributed by a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Deizani Allison-Madueke for the purpose of influencing the outcome of the 2015 general election. One of the charge read that “ You Ambassador Bashir Yuguda, Aminu Ahmed Nahuche and Ibrahim Malaha on or about 27th, March 2018, at Gusau, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court conspire

      A self acclaimed pastor, and founder Jesus the General Outreach Ministry based in Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos, ThankGod Udechukwu has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Enugu Zonal Office.        As Lagos joined other States in the country to celebrate this year’s Children’s Day, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has called on parents, guardians and members of the public to dedicate themselves to the safety of children by protecting them from domestic accidents and every form of injurious act capable of standing against their development. Ambode, who spoke during the year 2018 Children’s Day celebration held at Agege Stadium, noted that it was very imperative for all parents, adults, community leaders, teachers and other relevant stakeholders involved in children upbringing to take mentoring seriously and provide good leadership that kids would emulate to guarantee a better future for the country.
