CITAD Supports 27 Women With N2.4m Grant In its effort's to promote digital innovation among women, the center for information technology and development (CITAD) ,has provided post-training support worth N2,475,000 to 27 beneficiaries, of the Digital Creativity and Innovation for Young Women, (DICI-YOW). Speaking during the presentation of cheques , the executive director of the center, Alhaji Yunusa Zakari Ya’u, explained that, the training was aimed at empowering young girls with digital skills, entrepreneurship knowledge, and gadget operation. Alhaji Yunusa, who was represented by the campaign and communication officer, CITAD Malam Ali Sabo explained that, the beneficiaries from Kano, Jigawa and Bauchi states, were selected from over 380 applications, with 110 proposals chosen, and 27 excelling in their submissions.
