 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. NNAMDI AZIKIWE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN ABUJA,TO BE SHUT DOWN AGAIN OVER THE WEEKEND.

         Please be informed that the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport in Abuja will be closed down again,for the second time these month,in order for them to carry out repairs.The airport will be closed down from saturday July 12 to monday July 14.I hope the closure will be worth it.

          President Salva Kiir said today wednesday during a ceremony marking the third anniversary of independence.He called on rebels to resume peace talks.He said ''Put down your guns and come home,i still renew my call upon him {Machar} to accept the logic of peaceful resolution to the conflict so that we resolve this issue.These demands will not take us anywhere,let us forcus on peace reconciliation and coming back together.I will not order the Ugandan forces to leave South Sudan untill when we are secured and we know that our institutions are being protected''.

            One of Nigerian successful business man,Jimoh Ibrahim who is the Group managing Director of Energy group is advising christians nationwide not to work tomorrow thursday because he wants them to observe the day of Atonement.Jimoh Ibrahim further said that God commanded that his children should not work on the 10th day of the seventh month and that they should bring their souls before him for atonement.It is a special day,set aside to cleanse all saints and it is observed once a year.He even quoted Leviticus 16v29-31.Verse 29 says ''And this shall be a statue for ever unto you that in the seventh month,on the tenth day of the month,ye shall afflict your souls and do work at all,whether it be one of your own country or a stranger that sojourneth among you.You can read the remaing verses at your spare time.
