 Kim Kardashian Awarded Symbolic 1 Euro in Damages Over 2016 Paris Robbery A Paris court has officially awarded media mogul Kim Kardashian a symbolic 1 euro ($1.15) in damages following the infamous 2016 armed robbery in the French capital. The ruling marks a major milestone in the reality star's quest for closure after what she previously described as the most terrifying ordeal of her life. Accountability Over Compensation The nominal sum awarded to Kardashian is exactly what she had requested from the court. In a joint statement with her stylist, Simone Harouche who was also present during the heist and received a matching 1-euro award Kardashian emphasized that the legal battle was never about money. "The experience was deeply traumatic, and its impact has stayed with us. Today’s decision is not about the compensation, but about accountability and recognition," the pair said in a statement.                Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court in Lagos today monday,declared that it is unconstitutional to deploy military for the supervision of election without the approval of the National Assembly.The ruling of the court was sequel to a suit filed by Femi Gbajabiamila,a member of the House of Representatives representing Surulere Federal constituency 2,under the platform of All Progressives Congress,APC against President Goodluck Jonathan,Chief of Defence staff,Chief of Army staff,Chief of Air staff,Chief of Naval staff and the Attorney General of the Federation.In his argument,Seni Adio,Lawyer to the plaintiff,argued that there was an allegation and evidence that the military inhibited free movement,free access and intimidation of voters in of Osun,Ekiti,and Anambra state where the military were deployed during the governorship elections in those states.He also argued further that it is not ideal to deploy the military to sup...
