 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. EX-PRESIDENT OF GAMBIA JAMMEH IS ASKING FOR EXTENSION OF HIS DEADLINE TODAY TO PAVE WAY FOR ADAMA BARROW.

                        The report i just received is that Ex-President of Gambia Yahya Jammeh who ruled Gambia for 22 years is asking for an extension of time to move out of the Gambia government house.He has asked for an extenssion of deadline for him to leave power from midday until 4pm as the leaders of Guinea and Mauritania arrived in the capital,Banjul,in a last-ditch diplomatic effort to get him to cede power.The new President Adama Barrow,is awaiting orders today friday.Marcel Alain de Souza,chair of the west African union Exowas,said troops would force Jammeh out if he refused to leave the country.The west African troops entered the Gambia yesterday thursday night,hours after Barrow was forced to hold his inauguration as president in Dakar,the capital of Senegal.

AMBODE EARMARKS 181 LG ROADS FOR CONSTRUCTION IN 2017.{PHOTOS}.

                   Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode yesterday thursday said that his administration would consolidate on its infrastructural renewal drive with the construction of 181 local government roads in the current fiscal year,saying the process for the award of the contract would commence next week.Governor Ambode ,who spoke at the first Quarterly Town Hall Meeting for 2017,the sixth in the series,held at Ajelogo Housing Scheme,Ajelogo Market Road,Akanimodo,Mile 12,said the 181 roads,is an improvement on the 114 roads,two in each local government,which his administration promised to embark upon every year.Acknowledging that most of the requests made by residents during the interactive session at the Town Hall Meeting were majorly on roads owing to the success of the 114 roads delivered in September 2016,the Governor said his administration thought it wise to ensure that the roads captured for 2017 are key roads that would...
