 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.                                                               According to sources,the family members of a two year old  Chijindu Felix,are in distress over the disappearance of the child during a church service at the Immaculate Heart Parish of the Catholic Church,Umuagwo,in the Ohaji Local Government Area of Imo State.The child attended the first mass with her elder sister,Chima last sunday but suddenly went missing.The father,Stanley Felix,said efforts to find him had been abortive,adding that the police had yet to have any clue on the disappearance of the nursery one pupil.He said ''I attend another church,while their mother attends that church.But on that day,she had to go to another branch,where they were holding an anniversary.So ,she was not around that day.''Chijindu's elder sister,Chima,took him to church.It was while t...

                         The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to a video clip circulating on Social Media of soldiers alleging lack of food and water.We wish to state that the video clip was shot more than six months ago by some mischievous and disgruntled elements when Twenty Nine Task Force Brigade captured Alagarno Forest and environs in Borno State.It is disheartening that some mischievous elements have decided to circulate it now,creating the false impression that it is a recent occurrence.We wish to state further that the matter was conclusively investigated at the time,several months ago.The Board of Inquiry actually showed that,as at the time of the incident,the unit's water tanker still contained water,butt a soldier mischievously concealed it.That soldier was charged and punished accordingly.In addition to the unit's water tanker ,a borehole was subsequently drilled at the location and it is still se...

EFCC ARRAIGNS SUSPECTED FRAUDSTER YESTERDAY FOR CONTRACT SCAM IN KANO.{PHOTOS}

                                  The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission yesterday arraigned one Jamilu Yunusa before Justice Yahaya Galadanci of the Kano State High Court on a seven count charge of Conspiracy and Obtaining by False Pretense.The accused person alongside two others,Inuwa Abdu and Habibu Inuwa who are still at large allegedly connived and defrauded the complainants to the tune of One Million,five hundred and twenty thousand Naira by claiming that he had a contract with Dantata and Sawoe for the supply of pipes to the company.He convinced his victims by promising to share the contract profit with them.However,investigation by the EFCC revealed that the accused person never had a contract with Dantata and Sawoe.One of the charge read ''that Jamilu Yunusa,Inuwa Abdu {at large} and Habibu Inuwa {at large} sometime last year in Kano within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court conspi...
