 TEAM LAGOS EMERGES TOP AT 23RD NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL SOUTH WEST ELIMINATION Lagos State athletes proved their dominance in the South West by edging out regional competitors and emerging top in the five team events contested at the elimination series qualifier for the 23rd National Sports Festival later this year in Enugu. The elimination series featured team events in volleyball, basketball, football, beach volleyball, and cricket in male and female categories. While the team clinched only the female football ticket by topping their group, they showed dominance in three other sports by winning both the male and female tickets. Team Lagos took first position in the volleyball male and female categories. The male team defeated their counterparts from Ondo in the finals by 25-18, 24-26, 25-20, and 25-20, while the female team defeated Team Oyo by 25-18, 22-25, 28-26, 16-25, and 15-8. ANOTHER FACEBOOK VICTIM,DIES AFTER A DATE WITH HER STRANGE LOVER,IN OGBA LAGOS.

                                  The female victim is identifie as Adekemi Faboro,who teaches at a private nursey and primary school,in Ojota,died at her residence in Ogba area of Lagos state,last weekend while on a date with her married facebook lover,identified as Christopher Ezekiel,for the first time.Christopher Ezekiel an engineer staff of an electrical company based in Shagamu and who resides at 8,Orelope street,Ibadan,is a father of two,came from Ibadan,Oyo state,to visit Adekemi in Lagos state,for the first time.On that fateful day,it was revealed that after their date,Adekemi started coughing severely at midnight in her home at 5 Folorunsho street,off Ajayi road,Ogba.Her neighbours suspected that there was a fowl play and immediately rushed her to Ifako General Hospital where she died.Christopher Ezekiel was arrested at Pen cinema police station,in connection with her death.Her body has been d...
