 POLICE RECORD MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH IN INVESTIGATION INTO MURDER OF IMO MONARCH, FIVE OTHERS; GANG KINGPIN KILLED, ARMS RECOVERED The Nigeria Police Force has recorded a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation into the murder of HRH Eze Barrister Paulinus Ekwueme, Ochia I of Ochia Kingdom, and five others in Ohaji/Egbema, Imo State. Following actionable intelligence, operatives of the Special Tactics Squad, Force Intelligence Department (STS-FID), conducted a series of operations between 2nd and 6th August, 2026, targeting members of the criminal syndicate allegedly linked to the incident. The operations culminated in the early hours of 6th August, 2026, when operatives located the hideout of a suspected gang kingpin, identified as Ojiogu Elumah Martin, alias “Acid”, in Ohaji/Egbema.                                   The female victim is identifie as Adekemi Faboro,who teaches at a private nursey and primary school,in Ojota,died at her residence in Ogba area of Lagos state,last weekend while on a date with her married facebook lover,identified as Christopher Ezekiel,for the first time.Christopher Ezekiel an engineer staff of an electrical company based in Shagamu and who resides at 8,Orelope street,Ibadan,is a father of two,came from Ibadan,Oyo state,to visit Adekemi in Lagos state,for the first time.On that fateful day,it was revealed that after their date,Adekemi started coughing severely at midnight in her home at 5 Folorunsho street,off Ajayi road,Ogba.Her neighbours suspected that there was a fowl play and immediately rushed her to Ifako General Hospital where she died.Christopher Ezekiel was arrested at Pen cinema police station,in connection with her death.Her body has been d...
