 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

KENYA OPPOSITION LEADER RAILA ODINGA,DECLARES HIMSELF PRESIDENT TODAY.{PHOTOS}

   Kenya's main opposition leader, Raila Odinga, has declared himself the "people's president" at a controversial "swearing-in" ceremony in the capital. Thousands of his supporters attended the event, despite a government warning that it amounted to treason. The authorities shut down TV stations to prevent live coverage of the event. President Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn in for a second term last November. He won an election re-run in October, but Mr Odinga boycotted it. Elections were first held in August but the courts ordered a re-run, saying Mr Kenyatta's victory was marred by irregularities. Holding a Bible in his right hand at a park in Nairobi, Mr Odinga declared that he was answering to a "high[er] calling to assume the office of the people's president of the Republic of Kenya". EFCC ARRAIGNS FAKE UNIVERSITY LECTURER FOR FRAUD TODAY.{PHOTO}.

      The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today February 30, 2018 arraigned one Mahmoud A. Sadiq before Justice Lawan Wada of the Kano State High Court on a one count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence. The accused person allegedly obtained the sum of N410,000 (Four Hundred and Ten Thousand Naira Only) from the complainant under the pretext that the said money was to secure him a job at the Umar Mu sa Yar'adua University, Katsina. Upon receipt of the petition, the Commission swung into investigation which later revealed that the accused person is not a staff of the University as he claimed, rather, he is a contract staff of Federal College of Education, Katsina.The accused person pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to him.Counsel for the prosecution, Musa Isah requested a date for hearing in view of the plea of the accused person.The defense counsel I M Sheik, moved a bail application for his clients, which was granted in the sum of N100

        Although the herdsmen-farmers’ clashes predate this administration, indications are that the Buhari presidency will end the clashes and the violence associated with it. This was stated by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, today while receiving a delegation led by the traditional rulers of Batta and Bachamma communities in Adamawa State: HRM Hama Batta, Homun Alhamdu Teneke (JP); and HRM Hama Bachamma, Homun Honest Irmiya Stephen (JP). “President Muhammadu Buhari is determined to resolve the herdsmen-farmers clashes in Adamawa State and return peace and order to the affected communities,” Prof. Osinbajo said. He further said, “Much damage has been done, not just security-wise, but to the psyche of the people; due to the series of attacks, people are afraid.            Colours have a way of brightening your day,it makes you look younger,and even make people think you are happy.Though I was not sad when I wore a multi-colour dress on Sunday,but it made me happy all of a sudden and I was wondering why I was happy.From far the background of the dress looks like black but it is actually blue.I decided to carry a yellow purse and wear a yellow shoe because of the yellow leaf on the dress and I believed the yellow,will bring out the dress more and I will standout more.I wore a multicolour stud choker,with the bracelet and a silver watch.I wore a ring on my right finger that have leaf cut shape studs on it.One thing people should not forget when styling is the details on their dress,or outfit,try to work around it,and try not to do too much if not you might end up looking like a clown.More photos below.

       This happened live in delta state on sunday. A woman used her husband's car to sow a seed in the church without her husband's consent who is based in India.  According to reports, the husband based abroad. But aggrieved  people who are close to the husband asked the pastor to return back the car to her or else they will burn down the church.

      Chinenye Genevieve is reporting today that ''last respect to Mr and Mrs ugonna and chioma obodoechi who died on 24th December 2017 on there way back home with their six month unborn baby,.... ......       They got to the market to buy Christmas clothes for there children but meet there early death on there way home afterwards''.They were both laid to rest on the 26th of January 2018.They both died after a fatal accident.More photos below.

       She passed away over the weekend from an undisclosed sickness.Her sister Tina Ugo took to social media to confirm the story when she post all this pictures with the caption '' It's been hard for us all to accept this reality. I've been in denial for two days hoping it's all a dream or that you were playing us all one of your usual Pranks. You were a TRUE FIGHTER, that fought so hard to live, but I guess the pains and discomfort became unbearable for you two days ago so you succumbed to Death.
