                    Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun,today thursday,joined other leaders and stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress {APC},in the South West geo-political zone for a crucial meeting at the Government House,Agodi,Ibadan,Oyo State.Addressing Journalists after the closed door meeting,which lasted for over four hours,former Governor of Ogun State and one of the leaders of the party,Chief Olusegun Osoba disclosed that ''in the South West zone of APC,there is unity of purpose''.While revealing that the leadership of party is one,Chief Osoba disclosed that South West leaders of the APC ave decided to re-assert themselves as the leader of the progressives in the country for the betterment of Nigeria.Chief Osofa further informed that the meting critically examined issues affecting the South West geopolitical zone and resolved that moving forward,there will be constant consultation with South West Governors ...

                      Yesterday The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited a Child Bereavement UK Centre in Stratford,as the east London Centre marks its one year anniversary.Their Royal Hignesses attended one of the Charity's Family Support Group sessions where children,their parents,and  carers can meet other families,support networks and resilience.These sessions can help to decrease their sense of being alone and feeling 'different' when someone important in their lives has died.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge cut a cake to celebrate the one year anniversary of the charity's branch.More photos below.

                       The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,Ibadan Zonal Office has apprehended a gang of internet fraudsters comprising the trio of Davies Ayomide Rapheal,Adeyemi Adewumi Segun and Oyewole Segun who allegedly engage in phony online purchases from designated auction sites.The suspects confessed to have accomplices abroad.They were arrested by the operatives of the Commission at different locations following tip-off.Raphael,the arrow head of the gang,prowls on the internet particularly on Craigslist-an online sale and purchase sites,where items ranging from cars and furniture are being displayed for sale.His words: ''I usually pose like a genuine buyer and engage any seller in a bid to purchase a car.After the seller had agreed to the terms of purchase,I go online to edit any PayPal receipt online to reflect whatever agreement reached which includes cost of purchase and the accrued percentage for shi...

              The Nigerian Army has instituted a legal action against on online publication,the Premium Times over its failure to retract and apologize over false,subversive and malicious publications against the person of the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai and the Nigerian Army.All efforts to make the meduium make amend proved abortive.Consequently,the Nigerian Army sent a letter to the management of the of the online publishers to retract and apologize before 31st December 20166.The medium however remained adamant and recalcitrant.                  The Kaduna State Executive Governor,Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai,yesterday commended the Nigerian Army under the leadership of Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai,for its professionalism and dedication to duty.The governor made the commendation when he paid courtesy call on the Chief of Army Staff {COAS},Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai at the Army Headquarters in Abuja.Speaking further,he said that if not for the timely intervention of the Army,the problem of insecurity in Southern part of Kaduna State could have been worst.He also eulogized the Army for decimating Boko Haram terrorists and routing them out of their stronghold at Sambisa forest,describing it as unprecedented.Governor El-Rufai,applauded the efforts of 1 Division of the Nigerian Army in tackling cattle rustlings,kidnappings and other forms of criminalities in the State and appealed to the Army authority to establish more formations in Southern Kaduna,...
