EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

MOVIE COSTUMIER,LIZZY OGBODO DIED THIS MORNING.

                                                         Most people don't read names especially at the end of a movie.Lizzy is a popular custumiier based in Enugu and she had worked with some of the best movie producers of our time in Nigeria.She died saturday around 2.am this morning in Enugu.She was treating typhoid and malaria since end of May.She collapsed on the stair case to her apartment by her neighbour.She was in coma for three days with oxygen before she was taken to another hospital for CT brain test.She past away while the doctors were still waiting for the test.She is survived y three children who are in the university,may her soul rest in peace amen.

           Rihanna was accused by TLC singers of selling sex after she appeared nude at the CFDAS award.Rihanna retaliated by posting their topless photo of the group back then,using it as her twitter background on thursday.The photo shows 47 year old Tionne  T-Boz Watkins and 43 year old Rozonda Chilli Thomas smiling at the camera while barely covering their breasts with their hands.This is a clear case of what ever seed you plant might come out to hunt you even if the seeds were bad and later blossom to a good tree.Rihanna should grow up and listen to advise from people that have past through the stage of fame.More photos below.

          Robert Mugabe,Zimbabwe's president yesterday friday branded his information minister a ''Devil Incarnate'',accusing him of appointing editors of state owned newspapers who were sympathetic to the opposition.Zimbabwe's private media say an intense battle to succeed the 90 year old Mugabe has sucked in the state owned press.Mugabe said Jonathan Moyo,appointed information minister last year was using the government controlled newspaper to sow divisions.''I am saying this in light of what is happening now,when you have our minister of information wanting to pit people one against another,you don't do things like that''.On friday,Mugabe told mourners at a funeral of a senior ZANU-PF official that Moyo,a proffessor of political science,was trying to use his knowledge and intellectual ideas to destroy ZANU-PF by appointing editors sympathetic to the opposition Movement for Democratic Change {MDC}''I am saying this because all the m

60 AFRICANS AND 2 YEMEN CREW,DROWNED OFF YEMEN.

          According to the United Nations,at least 60 African migrants and two Yemeni crew perished in water off Yemen's coast last weekend,in a boat sinking that has just come to light and is believed to be the deadliest this year.The UNHCR spokesman Adrain Edwards said in Geneva ''we are still seeking information but it is now confirmed that a boat carrying 60 people from Somalia and Ethiopia and two Yemeni crew sank last Saturday in the Red sea.The tragedy is the largest single loss of life this year of migrants and refugees attempting to reach Yemen via the Red sea and the Gulf of Aden''.

U.S TO LAUNCH ANTI MILITANT TV STATION IN NORTHERN NIGERIA.

                  The United States is financing a new 24 hour satelite TV channel in northern Nigeria meant to counter insurgencies by the militant Boko Haram and other groups in the region.A U.S official confirmed the project was under way but didn't give full details.The official said the United States would ''support Nigeria efforts to provide an attractive alternative to the messaging of violent extremists''.The project is a result of discussions with Nigeria dating back to late 2012 on ways to cooperate against Boko Haram and the content of the channel will be produced by Nigerians in Nigeria.
