 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. WONDER BANK OPERATOR JAILED THREE YEARS IN SOKOTO.{PHOTO}.

      The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Sokoto Zonal Office, today, February 17, 2020, secured the conviction of one Amina Kabo (a.k.a Fauziyya) before Justice Mohammed Mohammed of the Sokoto State High Court sitting in Sokoto. She was convicted on a one-count amended charge bordering on Cheating to the tune of N907, 500 (Nine Hundred and SevenThousand, Five Hundred Naira). Kabo, a fake manager at Olive Micro Finance Bank,  who allegedly collected the sum from 108 victims, pleaded guilty to the charge when she was arraigned. In view of her plea, the prosecution counsel, Buhari Mohammed Balarabe, asked the court to convict and sentence the defendant in line with the plea bargain agreement. However, the defence counsel, Shamsu A. Dauda, pleaded with the court to temper justice with mercy as his client was a first time offender who has become remorseful.
