The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to an online Video captioned ‘Nigerian Soldier Vandalize Man’s Car Beat him for attempting to Overtake them on 3rd Mainland Bridge’ The public is to please note that the uniform adorned by the perpetrators of that act is not that of the NA. Besides, soldiers are not involved with the movement and escort of cash by banks. In addition, troops of the NA do not move with chemical weapons like tear gas.

       The presidency wishes to distance President Muhammadu Buhari from a letter currently in circulation, which alleges that the President had authorized a Governor or anyone else for that matter to "deal with traitors and disloyal members of APC, especially Senator Shehu Sani." We wish to confirm that the President is not aware of any such letter, let alone authorising anyone to deal with any party member. Given President Buhari’s record, it is inconceivable that he would usurp the role of the party leaders and instruct anyone to punish a party member. In the light of above, we would like to appeal to the general public, especially members of the press, to ignore false or unauthorized information intended to attribute to the President any action which is not in line with his character.        On Friday the 12th of October,2018. Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are to be married at St George’s Chapel, followed by a reception at Windsor Castle.  Singer-songwriter Andrea Bocelli and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, of which The Duke of York is Patron, will perform during the service and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.   During the wedding service The Archbishop of York, The Most Revd. and Rt. Hon. John Sentamu, has  written a personal prayer which will be included in the Order of Service for the Wedding. Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have asked cake designer Sophie Cabot to make their cake.        At about 0330 a.m yesterday morning 6 Oct 18, Elements of Boko Haram Terrorists attempted to attack the Ngala IDP camp in Borno State. However , the gallant troops of 3 Battalion in Gamboru Ngala engaged and neutralised 3 of them, while others escaped with gunshot wounds. The troops trailed the escaping BHTs and captured one of them with gunshot wounds. Consequently, the COAS Lt Gen TY Buratai has commended the gallant troops and charged them to remain vigilant and ensure that all IDP camps remain safe.More photos below.
