      The Nigerian Navy, Forward Operating Base, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, today, January 22, 2020 handed over to the EFCC, MV GRATITUDE, a bunkered vessel and its crew of six for further investigation and prosecution. The suspects were intercepted on January 9, 2020, by the Nigerian Navy. Thé six member crew are: Victor Ita (captain), Rotimi Poroye, Henry Edet Bassey, Rahpael Adewale, Godswill Iko and Jonah Achieve. The Commanding Officer, Forward Operating Base, Commodore Suleiman Ibrahim, while handing over the vessel and crew disclosed that that the ship was laden with 1,000,000 liters of locally refined Automotive Gas Oil.       A well-dressed man was caught red-handed shoplifting in a boutique in Gwarimpa area of Abuja. The man was caught via CCTV hiding some clothes in his underwear after a salesgirl at the boutique went to notify her boss of the price they bargained for an outfit he claimed he wanted to buy.       A burn victim who survived a gas explosion has shared photos of her transformation to celebrate her birthday. Yinka Matthews suffered the burn on June 8, 2013, when a gas cylinder in her kitchen exploded when she was trying to cook. Her body was badly burned in the fire and she was in a coma for 2 days. When she regained consciousness, she contemplated suicide and begged the doctor to inject her with a substance that'll kill her. Today, she's well and her skin shows no signs of the burns she once suffered. The majority of these new additions are either borrowings from Nigerian languages, or unique Nigerian coinages that have only begun to be used in English in the second half of the twentieth century, mostly in the 1970s and 1980s. 1. BUKA: One particularly interesting set of such loanwords and coinages has to do with Nigerian street food. The word buka, borrowed from Hausa and Yoruba and first attested in 1972, refers to a roadside restaurant or street stall that sells local fare at low prices. 2.
