 ANAMBRA STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL INSPECTS NEW HIGH COURT COMPLEX: EXPRESSES SATISFACTION  By Chinelo Okeke  The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Anambra State, Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, on  Monday, June 1st, 2026, conducted an inspection visit to the state's new High Court building,Complex currently under construction behind the Judiciary Headquarters off Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka. Nweke led the team of Commissioners that accompanied him to the inspection which are Arch. Henry Arinze, Commissioner for Housing, with Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, Commissioner for Physical and Urban Development. Attorney General toured the facility and expressed strong satisfaction with the progress and quality of work on the project. Speaking during the inspection, Nweke described the structure as solid and befitting of a modern judicial institution. WHY IS THE NORTHERN CONFAB DELEGATES,THREATENING TO PULLOUT OF THE CONFERENCE?.

           According to sources,the Northern delegates at the on going National conference have threatened to pull out of the conference following their demand for the nullification of the resolutions taken through voice vote which they say do not reflect the views of the delegates.The delegates who met with the conference Chairma,Justice Idris Kutigi and his deputy,Prof Bolaji Akinyemi insisted on ''Proper ballot process'' and queried why the conference leadership refused to use ballot boxes and papers already with the secretariat,accusing the leadership of alleged ''Floundering'' on resolutions.The Northern Delegates Forum {NDF} held an emergency meeting at Gombe Jewel hotel in Abuja to determine whether or not they will boycott the conference.They later met with Justice Kutigi and Akinyemi over the weekend.Those who represented the Northern delegates were former Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Coomasie,Prof Anwalu Yadudu,Senator Khairat Gwadabe,Mo...
