     RESCUE OF KIDNAP VICTIMS The Nigeria Police have today 26th July, 2019, successfully secured the release of four (4) Turkish Nationals earlier kidnapped in Kwara State. No ransom was paid. Three (3) male suspects arrested in connection with the kidnap are currently in Police custody.

    A warehouse where Rochas Okorocha's family allegedly kept looted properties, has been uncovered by the Jasper Ndubuaku-led Imo State Committee on the Recovery of Moveable Assets. The warehouse located at Aba Road, allegedly belongs to Nkechi, wife of former Governor, Rochas Okorocha and it was uncovered on Friday afternoon July 26th following a tip-off from an anonymous source. It was further learnt that angry youths were stopped from setting the warehouse ablaze.More photos below.

The remains of Elizabeth Ndubisi-Chukwu, the deputy director-general of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) who was killed in controversial circumstances in her hotel room in South Africa, has been laid to rest. Ndubuisi-Chukwu was strangled to death in her hotel room in the Emperor Hotel Johannesburg on June 13th. She had left Nigeria to attend the African Insurance Organisation (AIO) conference in South Africa. Her dream of returning home to her husband and children was terminated by yet-to-be identified persons who killed her. While Ndubuisi-Chukwu was initially believed to have died in her sleep, an autopsy report from South Africa’s department of home affairs showed that she died of “unnatural causes consistent with strangulation”.        The Army Headquarters Department of Training and Operations (DATOPS), today Thursday 25 July 2019, held its maiden workshop for Commanders, Commanding Officers and Staff Officers of Operation LAFIYA DOLE, on the concept of "Super Camp" held at Headquarters 25 Task Force Brigade (Super Camp 2) Damboa, Borno state.       Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has advised the people of Rumuoro and Okporowo communities of Ogbakiri Town in Emohua Local Government Area to work towards the peaceful resolution of the land dispute in the area. Governor Wike gave the Chiefs and Elders of Rumoro and Okporowo Communities two weeks to resolve their differences for the entrenchment of peace. Thankgod, a 25-year-old entertainer with the stage name “Tuesday Cruise” was arraigned on July 24, 2019, by the Uyo Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a one-count charge.       The operatives of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit (Task Force) has impounded 21 vehicles and arrested 9 drivers for driving against traffic on Oshodi-Apapa expressway.       Actress Queen Wokoma's estranged husband, Prince Kalada Allison, who shared a suicide note on his Instagram page last night, is currently on admission in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, after a failed suicide attempt. According to his close firends, he attempted to take his life but was quickly rescued and rushed to the hospital where he is currently being treated. His friends say Allison became depressed after his one-year marriage to Queen packed up a few months ago.
