 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country. The suspected trafficker, Angela Okechukwu and her collaborators were also arrested.  Speaking, the Managing Director of OCHA Brigade, Comrade Celestine Anere who frowned at the poor health condition the children who are aged between two and twelve years are subjected to, assured that the state government will continue to crack down on all sorts of illegality and warning all criminal minded individuals to relocate from the...

AMVCA 2024… Veteran Nollywood actress, Idowu Philips, popularly known as Iya Rainbow, has been honored with the Industry Merit Award at the 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA 2024). Also, veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo, was announced as joint winner of the Industry Merit Award of the 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), sharing the honor with veteran actress Iya Rainbow. Iya Rainbow, born on October 16, 1942, has featured in several Nigerian films and has received several awards for her contributions to the Nigerian movie industry. “I am happy to be alive,” Iya rainbow said while commenting on the award. Chimezie Imo, a talented actor from the movie Breath of Life, has won the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) Trailblazer award. Imo's outstanding performance in the film caught the attention of the industry. The AMVCA award was held at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos on Saturday. Imo, who has been making waves in the Nigerian film industry, expressed his gratitude for the recognition and dedicated the award to his fans and supporters. He said, "I just want to say a very big thank you, Africa Magic thank you for making me feel seen and recognising this gift God has blessed me with. "So every actor, young, up-and-coming should be one audition away from your big break." The AMVCA has multiple categories for nominees, including actors, movies, and exceptional crew members. EFCC ARRESTS 26 SUSPECTED INTERNET FRAUDSTERS IN PORT HARCOURT. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Arrests 26 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Port Harcourt   Operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 26 (twenty six) suspected internet fraudsters on  May 6 &  May 9, 2024 at the Nigeria Television Authority,  NTA and  Choba axes of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.   They were arrested following credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related activities.     Items recovered from them are different brands of phones,  laptops and six exotic cars     The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.  More photos below. 

NEW HAMPSHIRE MAN ARRESTED AFTER TIPPING OVER A "POTA-POTTY" WITH A WOMAN AND CHILD INSIDE. (PHOTO).

 New Hampshire man arrested after tipping over a "porta-potty" with a woman and child inside. On May 8th an unnamed woman and her young child were tipped over in the portable bathroom and as you can imagine they were covered with the unimaginable. According to reports, 18-year-old Aiden Studer, allegedly got into an argument with the female victim near the porta-potty. At some point the woman entered the porta-potty with her child. Once they were inside, Struder pushed the porta-potty over trapping the woman and child inside ...covered in waste.  Fortunately, bystanders rushed over and freed the woman and child. Police report the victim and the assailant did not know each other.  Struder was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal restraint and two counts of criminal mischief.  He also had a charge of simple assault added due to circumstances during his arrest.

 EFCC Arrests 64 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Osun Investigators of the Ibadan Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 arrested sixty-four suspected internet fraudsters in Osun State. The suspected cybercriminals were arrested in Ede, Osun State following actionable intelligence on their suspicious  fraudulent activities in their environs. Items recovered from them include, 18 exotic vehicles, 18 laptops, 112 mobile phones, three Play Station games, five motorcycles and other incriminating documents among others. They will be charged to court upon conclusion of  investigations.  More photos below.
