           In Bethlehem, The Prince visited the Mosque of Omar. Inside the Mosque’s prayer hall, His Royal Highness heard about the history of the Mosque and signed the visitors’ book in English and Arabic. His Royal Highness then visited the Church of the Nativity for an ecumenical service. It was the first time that the three Christian churches have collectively held a service to celebrate the contribution of Ch ristian communities across the Holy Land and wider Middle East. At the church, The Prince visited the Grotto where Jesus was born. Later, His Royal Highness attended a reception celebrating the ties between the British and Palestinian people. The victim was abducted along Fidi-Ipara road area of the State on January 10. The suspects paraded were Muhammad Abdullah, 25, Ibrahim Diko, 20, Gambo Abduallah 25, and Mohammed Sulaimon, 23. Addressing journalists at the police headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, the Police Commissioner, Kenneth Ebrimson said that the suspects were arrested after technical and forensic investigation. The police boss revealed that he directed the Divisional Police Officer of Isara Division to work in conjunction with other tactical teams in the command, a move that saw the victim rescued unhurt. He said that no ransom was paid for the abductors. But, our correspondent reliably gathered that the suspects collected the sum of N1.7million as ransom before they met their waterloo.       A final year student of Business Administration in a private university located in Ondo State, Fisayo Adetoro, was on Thursday, January 23, 2020, found guilty of impersonation, forgery and money laundering, and sentenced to cumulative 13 years in prison and N1,000,000 (One Million Naira) fine. Adetoro, who was said to be a first class candidate on 4.5 Cumulative Grade Point Aggregate (CGPA), was convicted by Justice Folashade  Olubanjo of the Federal High Court 1, Akure, in a criminal case filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan zonal office. He was originally arraigned on January 18, 2017 on a six-count charge, but pleaded not-guilty to all the charges. The allegations, according to the charge sheet, include falsely representing himself to be Bawa Mohammed Sanni to defraud his victims to the tune of thousands of United States Dollars.          The Ibadan zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned two siblings - Olatunji Beyioku (aka Bashorun) and Oluwayomi Oluwafemi Beyioku (aka Ola 1) – for allegedly falsely presenting themselves as agent of the commission to defraud members of the public. The duo were on Thursday, January 23, dragged before Justice Mohammed Abubakar of the Federal High Court 1, sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun  State capital, on 18-count charges bordering on conspiracy, impersonation, forgery, money laundering and obtaining money under false pretenses. According to the charges, the accused persons allegedly laundered over N12,000,000 (Twelve Million Naira) and also defrauded unsuspecting victims of the sum of N404,000,000 (Four Hundred and Four Million Naira). The facts of the case revealed that the brothers had represented themselves as operatives of the EFCC in order to gain undue advantage of their victims.More photos below.

He made the call today at Tse-Kyogen, a community near the border between Benue and Nasarawa states. Governor Ortom whose convoy stopped on sighting a herd of cattle on the Benue side of the border, ordered security men to apprehend the law breakers. He reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to ensuring that open grazing of animals no longer has a place in the state.
