       The British government has certified operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, as Interview Investigation Experts. The certification followed a two-week intensive training for operatives of the Commission who were selected from various zonal offices across the country. The Coordinator, National Crime Agency Anti-Corruption Projects, NCAACP, Paddy Kerr, while presenting ce rtificates to participants at the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja on Friday, March 29, 2019, said the British Government and the EFCC made the investment which is aimed at honing the investigative skills of the operatives for a better performance in the fight against corruption.          In its continuous effort to make Lagos an orderly and environmentally sustainable smart city, the State Government has announced the reduction of the Penal Fee on Planning Permit from 400% to 200% as a post-amnesty enhancement. The General Manager Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA), Tpl. Funmi Osifuye, in a release issued on Thursday, said Governor Akinwunmi Ambode granted the approval for the reduction coverin g the period between January – December, 2019 in order to consolidate on the gains of the previous year amnesty period in respect of the grant of Planning Permit.
