EFCC TASKFORCE ARRESTS 34 SUSPECTED CURRENCY SPECULATORS IN ABUJA. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

                      On saturday August 1st,22 years old Kristina Brown was finally laid to rest as her funeral took place and according to sources,the same scandal that occurred at her mother's {Whitney Houston}funeral unfortunately also ended up happening to her dead body.Sources claimed that a photo of Bobbi Kristina's dead body,lying in her casket,has been sold to a media outlet.The picture is said to have been taken during the viewing,just a day before the funeral,and it sold for six digit.It is still unclear which of her family members took and sold the picture.Now the Brown and Houston families are currently pointing fingers at one another for it.During when Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub,during her laying in state,a family member,took and sold her lifeless body picture to a media house.Bobbi Kristina was buried very close to her mother Whitney Houston,who passed away in 2012. 10 MALI SOLDIERS,KILLED TODAY BY UNIDENTIFIED GUNMEN.

              Souleymane Maiga,Head of the army's information office in Mali said that today monday,unidentified gunmen killed 10 Malian soldiers at the Gourma Rharous base in northern Mali.''The provisional death toll is 10 dead on the army side''.The attack which took place near the desert city of Timbuktu,follows an ambush on a Malian army convoy yesterday sunday,further south in which two soldiers were killed.Am so looking forward to  the day all these militants will ceasefire and lets have peace in these world.

THE NIGERIAN ARMY,RESCUED 178 CAPTIVES FROM BOKO HARAM DEN IN BORNO STATE.

                         Yesterday sunday,the Nigeria army said that they rescued 178 people held captives by the Islamist militant group Boko Haram in Borno state.Spokesman Colonel Tukur Gusau said in an emailed statement that 101 of the those freed were children,67 were women and the rest were men.He added that a Boko Haram commander had also been captured and several militant camps were cleared around the town of Bama,about 70 km south east of the state capital Maiduguri..Nigeria's airforce also said that it helped ground troops repel an attack by Boko Haram around the village of Bitta on the southern edge of the Sambisa forest reserved,a stronghold of the militant group.Bitta is also west of Gwoza,a town near the Cameroonian border that was believed to be the militants headquarters until a major offensive was launched earlier this year by combined Nigeria,Nigerian and Chadian forces.

6 PEOPLE WERE ARRESTED TODAY,OVER THE DEATH OF A POLICE INSPECTOR IN SOKOTO.

             According to the Sokoto state Police Command spokesman,Mr El-Mustapha Sani,today monday confirmed the arrest of six workers of a four-star hotel in Sokoto over the death of a Police Inspector,Mr Nura Hashimu,on saturday.He said that the Inspector died after he was allegedly beaten to a state of coma by security guards of the hotel.''The deceased had reportedly lodged in the hotel for about five days preceding the incident.The late officer was asked to leave the hotel after repeated complaints by some of his neighbours in the hotel that his room was always rowdy.He had earlier parked his belongings and put them in a commercial tricycle and left the hotel,but he later returned angrily.On his return,the deceased reportedly had a misunderstanding with the Managing Director of the hotel,prompting the intervention of the security guards,who allegedly beat him up.The late Inspector was rushed to the Specialist Hospital Sokoto,where he was confirmed dead.His corpse had bee

                      According to sources,the developer known as Paramo Development Ventures Limited wrote to the market union about its intention to collect tolls from traders who brought goods or containers into the market.The letter stated that owners of each container brought into the market with goods will pay a fee of between N10,000 and N20,000 depending on the size of the container,while anybody that comes to the market to buy any spare parts will pay between N200 and N500 and will be issued receipts.Paramo also informed the traders that they will pay N200 for any good bought outside and brought into their shops for sale.The union replied them on behalf of the traders that they will not pay such levies.After the union's response,trouble started when Paramo workers attempted to enforce the policy at the market.Some traders resisted and seized Paramo's receipts and threatened to mo the workers if they continued the levy collection.It took the intervention of the market&#
