The pregnant woman, who was identified as Kudirat Bello, was arrested by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency,Lagos state command to be in possession of 33.3 kilogrammes of cannabis {cocaine, was sentenced to one day imprisonment by Justice Musa Karya, sitting at the Federal High court in Lagos.I know alot of people will be expecting her to get more days than one day for such an offence when others will be sentenced to 10-15years for the same offence.I believe because she is pregnant, the judge just used is his wise discretion to sentence her to one day, just for the sake of the unborn baby that is what i believe happened and the pregnant woman, would have learnt her lesson by now.
