ANAMBRA GOVT RESCUES 13 CHILDREN FROM TRAFFICKERS, ARREST SUSPECTS. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE.

 Anambra State Govt. Rescues 13 Children From Traffickers, Arrests Suspects By OCHA Brigade Media  13 children have been rescued from suspected child traffickers in Otolo Nnewi by a joint taskforce of Operation Clean And Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade and Anambra State Ministry of Women Affairs. The joint taskforce also confiscated fake documents that aided the trafficking.  The children were found malnourished and have been denied education.  Report say that the trafficker adopts and sold children to people from different parts of the country.                The EFCC,on June 13,2016 arraigned Etoh Oluwabukola {aka Mobolaji Johnson} before Justice Lewis Allagoa of the Federal High Court Owerri,Imo State,on an eight-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of N1,044,000 {One Million and Forty-four Thousand Naira}.Oluwabukola belongs to a syndicate of fraudsters that operated seven different accountd with different banks,using fictitious names,and non-existent addresses,with the sole aim of using the said accounts to conceal their fraudulent activities.

FROM NEXT MONTH,AFRICAN UNION WILL START ISSUING THE NEW E-PASSPORT.

                     According to sources,the African Union will be launching the electronic passport next month in Kigali Rwanda.The project that dates back to 2014 and is part of Africa's agenda of 2063.The project will facilitate free movement of persons,goods and services across Africa fostering intra-Africa trade,integration and socioo-economic development.The outgoing chairperson of the African Union Commission,Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma,has termed the project as symbolic and significant.She further said that it is a steady step towards the objective creation of a strong,prosperous and integrated Africa,driven by its citizens and capable of taking its rightful place in the world stage.Initially the e-passport will be used by the African Union Heads of State and government,foreign affairs ministers and the permanent representatives of the African Union member states.The AU E-passports will be issued to this group of people in th...

                   South African Paralympian chapioon Oscar Pistorius,removed his prosthetic limbs today and  walked  on his stumps around the courtroom at his sentencing hearing today.His defence lawyer wanted to show how vulnerable he was when he shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp through a door at his home in 2013.The court granted permission for the crime scene photos of Reeva to be made public.Oscars says he mistook Ms Steenkamp for an intruder.Pistorius will be sentenced on 6 July,2016.The double amputee faces a jail term of 15 years but it may be reduced due to time already spent in prison and mitigating factors.More photos below.                                                                                    ...

SOME BOKO HARAM MEMBERS,SURRENDERED TO THE MILITARY YESTERDAY AFTER THEY KILLED SOME VIGILANTES.{PHOTOS}.

          Some elements of Boko Haram terrorists on 6 motorcycles yesterday attacked Kutuva village in which they killed 4 persons and abducted 4 women from the village.Consequently,the local vigilante in Kaya mobilized immediately to the village and trailed the terrorists up to their suspected hideout located somewhere south of Sabon Garin Bale.The vigilante did their best by engaging the terrorists,unfortunately vigilantes destroyed the terrorists camp and recovered all hoisted Boko Haram terrorists flags,3 Fabrique Nationale {FN} rifle magazines,2 AK-45 rifle magazines and 24 rounds of 7.62mm {NATO} ammunition.The vigilantes also rescued an 11 year old girl who stated that she was abducted by the terrorists from Batha village.Sadly however,the vigilante could not trace the terrorists or the abducted women.However,effort is on going to trace and rescue them.In a related development,a team of local vigilante in Damboa led by Sarkin Yaki Ali Gwoza intercepted so...
