The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements.                According to some pressmen,the Chairman Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offenses Commission {ICPC},Mr Ekpo Nta,has disclosed that the commission in course of their operations has seized 62 houses from one female public officer.Nta said this while answering question during interaction at the Akwa Ibom Anti-Corruption Summit in Uyo today Tuesday.He said the commission had interim power to seize property of any public officerwhose property was above the accruable income and could not be explained.According to him,the property will be forfeited to the Federal Government after all litigations have been concluded.The ICPC boss warned public office holders not to live above their income s the commission had the mandate of interim seizyre of any public officer property that live above his or her income.''There are many facets of corruption in Nigeria the commission will stop at nothing to bring anyone found to have contravened the anti-corruption crusade

                   Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode today tuesday received the Certificate of Admission of the State as one of the 100 Resilient Cities {100RC} in the world pioneered by the Rocketfeller Foundation,saying that it was a starting point and a positive partnership that would help the State address the challenges of urban planning,transport gridlock,environment and modern infrastructure. Governor Ambode,who spoke at the presentation of the certificate held at the Renaissance Hotel,Ikeja,Lagos,said the development was not only historic in the annals of the State but a confirmation that the efforts to build a globally competitive State had received international recognition. The Governor said it was gratifying to note that despite the challenges faced by the State in many areas including transportation,security,ocean surge,flooding,high unemployment rate,pressure on physical and social infrastructure,growth of slums and a huge housing defivit,Lagos remained resilient

                                       The use of a catalogue is not a bad idea but learn to be creative either it turns out to be a fashion fail or a trend setter.I try as much as possible to involve myself in the designing process of all my outfits.Thank God for my mother who is a great artist so i learnt how to draw/sketch from my mother.I pick up inspiration from anywhere fuse it together and i look different at the end.On sunday I decided to wear a skirt and a blouse i personally designed.I was inspired by the sudden cold and later the heat .I decided to experiment my design on two African wax,in which i will show case the other one later on this platform.I wore nude open toes,wedge shoes,multicolour purse and very long gold earing and gold watch/bracelet. EFCC ARRAIGNS BUSINESSMAN FOR FRAUD YESTERDAY.{PHOTO}.

                                       The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC yesterday February 6,2017 arraigned one Adama Shuaibu,before Justice Sa'ad of the Gombe State High Court,on one-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence. Shuaibu,who was arrested on May 23,2016,allegedly defrauded his business client,Mamman Alkali,in a failed transaction.He was accused of collecting N500,000 from him,with the promise to supply timber woods from Taraba State,but however failed to deliver on his promise. The charges reads: ''That you Adamuu Babawuro Shuaibu,sometime in January 2016 at Gombe,Gombe State,within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court,with intent to defraud,did obtain the sum of N500,000 only from Honourable Mamman Alkali under false pretence that the said sum would be used for the purchase of Madrid Timber Wood at Baruwa,Taraba State,which you never did,instead diverted same for personal use''. He pleaded ''not guilty
