 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

THE ''ONE DIRECTION'' BAND MEMBERS,TO GO SOLO IN 2016

                 Just over 24 hours after it was revealed that the world's most famous boy band are going on an extended break in 2016,to work on their solo projects.Niall one of the band members took to his twitter account to write 'We are not splitting up but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year''.23 year old Louise who is also a band member added that ''Your support is truly indescribable,it's just a break,we're not going anywhere!!.Promise Don't worry'.Though Simon Cowell who formed the band in 2010 from the reality show X Factor doubted whether the band would reunite after their temporary split.Remember that they were 5 in the band before one of the band members left,now they are officially 4.One more photo below.

50 SOLDIERS DEAD,AS AL-SHABAAB MILITANTS ATTACKED AN AFRICAN UNION BASE IN SOMALIA TODAY.

                        Early today tuesday,Al-shabaab militants attacked an African Union {AU} base in southern Somalia killing dozens of soldiers.One of the Alshabaab fighters rammed a car bomb into the base and then gunmen poured inside the facility run by the AU peacekeeping mission in Somalia,AMISOM.50 peacekeepers were killed in the attack on Janale base,about 90km south of the capital Mogadishu.Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musab,Al Shabaab's military operations spokesman,told pressmen that ''Now Janale base of AMISOM is under our control''.Though the AU peacekeeping force said via Twitter without giving details on the casualties.''AMISOM can confirm that the base is still under AMISOM control.Reports that the base has been taken over and our weapons captured are false''.According to a Somali military officer Captain Bilow Idow ,who is based in a town near Janale said ''The Janale base was effectively cut off as the militants had destroyed a nea

A LAWYER CHRISTOPHER,RE-ARRAIGNED FOR FINGERING A 9 YEAR OLD GIRL INSIDE A MAGISTRATE COURT 4,IN LAGOS.

                                                                             According sources,a Lagos based legal practitioner,Christopher Uzoamaka a.k.a Americana,has been re-arraigned before a Tinubu Magistrate Court Lagos for allegedly fingering the private part and anus of a 9 year old girl inside court 4,Tinubu Magistrate court without consent.The incident according to the police,occurred on 12th of  August 2015 when the grand-mother of the victim came to the court to attend to her civil case pending in the court.The accused Christopher Uzoamaka was alleged to have lured the victim to an alley inside the court to allegedly commit the offence.The cry of the victim,according to investigation,attracted the grandmother who reportedly asked her daughter what happened to her.The victim told her mother that the accused fingered her private part and anus inside the court which caused her pains.Following the development,the Chief Magistrate in charge of Tinubu Magistrate court,Mrs G.B. A DRIVER GANIYU,IMPREGNATED HIS NEIGHBOUR'S 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN MEIRAN LAGOS STATE.

                         According to the Prosecutor,Sgt Jimah Iseghede,who told an Ikeja Magistrate court today tuesday that 45 year old driver Ganiyu Afolabi,who lives at No.9,Ayinde close,Meiran Lagos state,alleged that Ganiyu had called in the 16 year old gilr to his room under the pretext of sending her on an errand and he defiled her in the process.When the 16 year old victim told the accused that she had missed her monthly flow,he procured a drug for her to use but the girl told her mother and the accused was apprehended.The accused Ganiyu is now facing a three count charge of sexual assault,defilement and attempt to procure abortion.The alleged offences were committed sometime in May 2015 at the accused residence.Though the accused Ganiyu,pleaded not guilty to all the charges.The Chief Magistrate Mr Tajudeen Elias,ordered that the accused Ganiyu should be held in prison custody until September 9 2015,when the court would deliver its ruling on his bail application.
