 Outcries Over State Recognised Vigilantes In North-West   The security outfits established by various state governments, especially in the North-West, are being accused of indiscriminate arrests and killing of suspects, as well as innocent people without recourse to judicial processes, findings by Daily Trust Saturday revealed. But those charged with the responsibility of managing the outfits have debunked the claims of extrajudicial killings, though some admitted what they described as “overzealousness” by some of the operatives. It was alleged that in some states, long lists of suspected bandits, their supporters or sympathisers have been arrested and ultimately killed, and such acts are allegedly being carried out without recourse to the police and other law enforcement agencies. 2 FOREIGNERS WERE ARRESTED TODAY AT ISTANBUL AIRPORT CONCERNING THE NIGHT CLUB ATTACK ON NEW YEARS DAY.{PHOTOS}.

                       According to CNN,Turkish authorities arrested two foreign nationals at Istanbul's Ataturk airport today tuesday in connection with the night club terror attack early New Year's Day that left 39 people dead,state-run Anadolu reported.There were no details available on their nationalities.A total of 16 people have been arrested in connection with the investigation so far,and Turkish authorities are still on the hunt for the gunmen who carried out the attack at the Reina nightclub.Yesterday monday,police released a video that the suspect apparently took of himself in  market near the night club.Neither his name nor his name nor his nationality have been released.But new details emerged about the gunman in Turkish media today tuesday.Police told Haberturk newspaper the attacker took a taxi from Zeyinburnu,a neighborhood near the Istanbul airport,to a district near the club.Haberturk reported the attacker put his backpack in the trunk of the taxi.More photos b

                   Today tuesday it was reported that The Queen of England has sent a message of condolence to the President of Turkey,following the attack in Istanbul on New Year's day.''Our thoughts are with the familes of the victims and the wounded,and with the Turkish people at this time''.She further said ''Prince Philip and I were saddened to learn of the terrible attack in Istanbul on New Year's Day.Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and the wounded,and with the Turkish people at this time''.Isis is claiming the responsibility for the New Year's attack at Istanbul's Reina nightclub that left 39 people dead,but authorities are still scrambling to find the killer.More photos below.

FIRE STARTED IN ONE SECTION OF STERLING BANK IN OGUN STATE EARLIER TODAY.{PHOTO}.

                                                                                     According to sources,a section of Sterling Bank,Oke Ilewo branch located at the OPIC Roundabout,Abeokuta,was today tuesday gutted by a mid-day fire.A staff of the bank,who spoke on the condition of anonymity to pressmen said that the fire incident occurred at around Twelve noon due to electrical fault.He said attempts by security personnel to use fire extinguishers to put out the fire failed,and the management had to call the state fire service.The men of the Ogun State Fire and Safety Service put put the fire and prevented it from spreading to other parts of the bank.Mr Adebamba Adesanya,the Deputy,Ogun Fire and Safety Service,said that the fire service received a call from the bank and responded immediately.''We received a call from the bank that there was a fire incident and within a few minutes,we arrived the scene to control the situation.By the grace of God,everything is now under control
