 SANWO-OLU HAILS LAGOSIANS ON SANITATION DAY The return of the monthly Sanitation Day on Saturday was successful- thanks to Lagosians who trooped out to clean their environment.  From Ikorodu to Badagry, Lagos Island and Lagos Mainland ; Alimoso to Ikeja and Agege, the turnout was impressive.  Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu would like to put on record the enthusiasm of residents who woke up early to obey the call for a return to a culture that made our state a healthy and clean place for all.  “I thank Lagosians who joined the call to clean up our environment as a sure step to good health,”Mr Sanwo-Olu said.   “That is patriotic; it is the Spirit of Lagos that we often speak about. We should continue to walk that path,” he added. MANY PEOPLE DIED TODAY,AS A BOMB EXPLODED AT A BUS-STATION IN KANO CITY.

                     The explosion at the Kano line station occurred at about 3:40pm today tuesday and sources claimed that after the bomb exploded,many people were injured and covered in blood.Sources said that one of the bus that exploded was spattered with blood and human flesh.There was no immediate indication of casualties but there were fears of a heavy death toll,given that the bus station is normally packed with commuters and travellers but the police confirmed 12 people dead already.More details later.

A FEMALE MISSIONARY,KIDNAPPED TODAY IN KOGI STATE.

                According to sources and the church said that ''Early this morning {today tuesday}we received a report that Rev.Phyllis Sortor,our missionary in Nigeria,was abducted from the Hope Academy compound in Emiworo,Kogi state,Nigeria by several persons''.A United State Department official said authorities had heard the reports but could not make further comments in the interest of privacy.From my little investigations,the sister is from America and she is a christian missionary that was working in Nigeria and she was kidnapped overnight.Nobody or group has come out to claim they kidnapped the Rev sister.
