 ANAMBRA POLICE ARRESTS 26-YEAR-OLD MALE SUSPECT OVER MURDER OF GIRLFRIEND, A SINGLE MOTHER IN EKWULOBIA  The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 26-year old male suspect, Anikpe Valentine Chibuike, in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, Ogechukwu Mmadubugwu, a 35-year old single mother in Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area of the State. The arrest was carried out by operatives attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Awka, on 7th January 2026. The Command has debunked claims circulating that the crime was committed by persons the suspect owed money, describing such reports as false and misleading. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to stabbing the victim in the neck with a knife, an act that led to her death. The incident reportedly occurred at about 12.00 midnight on 9th December 2025. According to the suspect’s confession, the act was allegedly committed over suspicion of infidelity. MANY PEOPLE DIED TODAY,AS A BOMB EXPLODED AT A BUS-STATION IN KANO CITY.

                     The explosion at the Kano line station occurred at about 3:40pm today tuesday and sources claimed that after the bomb exploded,many people were injured and covered in blood.Sources said that one of the bus that exploded was spattered with blood and human flesh.There was no immediate indication of casualties but there were fears of a heavy death toll,given that the bus station is normally packed with commuters and travellers but the police confirmed 12 people dead already.More details later.

A FEMALE MISSIONARY,KIDNAPPED TODAY IN KOGI STATE.

                According to sources and the church said that ''Early this morning {today tuesday}we received a report that Rev.Phyllis Sortor,our missionary in Nigeria,was abducted from the Hope Academy compound in Emiworo,Kogi state,Nigeria by several persons''.A United State Department official said authorities had heard the reports but could not make further comments in the interest of privacy.From my little investigations,the sister is from America and she is a christian missionary that was working in Nigeria and she was kidnapped overnight.Nobody or group has come out to claim they kidnapped the Rev sister.
