  ZAMBIA VICE PRESIDENT COMMENDS SANWO-OLU ON HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT, GENDER INCLUSION •As VP, Governor charge Africans to develop continent The Vice President of the Republic of Zambia, Mrs Mutale Nalumango, has commended Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his administration's commitment to human capital development. She also praised Governor Sanwo-Olu for ensuring women's inclusion in his government. Nalumango said Zambia is ready to learn and partner with the Lagos State Government on issues relating to development. Vice President Nalumango, who was accompanied by top government officials from Zambia, spoke on Thursday during a courtesy visit to Governor Sanwo-Olu at Lagos House, Marina. MANY PEOPLE DIED TODAY,AS A BOMB EXPLODED AT A BUS-STATION IN KANO CITY.

                     The explosion at the Kano line station occurred at about 3:40pm today tuesday and sources claimed that after the bomb exploded,many people were injured and covered in blood.Sources said that one of the bus that exploded was spattered with blood and human flesh.There was no immediate indication of casualties but there were fears of a heavy death toll,given that the bus station is normally packed with commuters and travellers but the police confirmed 12 people dead already.More details later.

A FEMALE MISSIONARY,KIDNAPPED TODAY IN KOGI STATE.

                According to sources and the church said that ''Early this morning {today tuesday}we received a report that Rev.Phyllis Sortor,our missionary in Nigeria,was abducted from the Hope Academy compound in Emiworo,Kogi state,Nigeria by several persons''.A United State Department official said authorities had heard the reports but could not make further comments in the interest of privacy.From my little investigations,the sister is from America and she is a christian missionary that was working in Nigeria and she was kidnapped overnight.Nobody or group has come out to claim they kidnapped the Rev sister.
