                 In an official letter dated today 4th May 2017,and captioned HRH THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH said:   His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh has decided that he will no longer carry out public engagements from the autumn of this year.In taking this decision,The Duke has the full support of The Queen. Prince Philip will attend previously scheduled engagements between now and August,both individually and accompanying The Queen.Thereafter,The Duke will not be accepting new invitations for visits and engagements,although he may still choose to attend certain public events from time to time. The Duke of Edinburgh is patron,President orr a member of over 780 organisations,with which he will continue to be associated,although he will no longer play an active role by attending engagements.                 Federal Road Safety Corps patrol men rescued 6 male adults from a multiple car crash that occurred today the 4th of May 2017,0745hrs along Oyo-Ibadan route at Dangote Park,8km from Oyo.The victims were taken to the State Hospital,Oyo.

                          The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC yesterday wednesday May 3,2017,arraigned one Eucharia Ekezie before Justice Olasumbo Olajumoke Goodluck of the Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Maitama,Abuja,on a ten-count charge of conspiracy and obtaining by false pretence.Ekezie,in connivance with one Hamid Bskoji {now at large},allegedly defrauded over seventy job applicants to the tun of N3.920 million under the pretext that the money would be used to facilitate employments for them in various federal government establishments including Central Bank of Nigeria,Nigeria Communication Commission,Federal Inland Revenue Service and National Assembly.The offence contravenes Section 8 {a} and 1 {1} {a} of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act,2006.The defendant pleaded not guilty the charge.In view of he plea,counsel to EFCC,Chris Omisaga urged the court to fix a date f...
