 Be Attentive to Your Husbands, Families - Catholic Cleric Urges Mothers on Mother's Day By Ifeyinwa Ogwo Rev. Fr. Francis Oranye, Parish Priest of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Awka, urged mothers to give serious attention to their husbands' needs, just as they do for their children, emphasizing that husbands are also part of their responsibilities. He pointed out that some family issues stem from mothers not taking time to consider their husbands and ensuring their well-being. "Some mothers do not communicate with their husbands and prefer to connect only with their children, neglecting their husbands' faith. Can you openly condemn children who do wrong if they contribute more to the family?" he asked. He encouraged mothers to show care and interest in their husbands. "We Will Continue to Celebrate Our Fallen Heroes..." IGP Baba As IGP Commiserates with family of Late DIG Israel Ajao (Rtd)  The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba psc+,NPM, fdc, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to continually honour and celebrate its fallen Heroes who have served the country diligently.  The IGP made the call today while confirming and announcing the passing into glory of DIG Israel Ajao (Rtd.), OON, NPM, mni, which occurred in the early hours of Friday 3rd June, 2022 at the University College Hospital Ibadan. DIG Israel Ajao, who hailed from Oluponna in Osun state, was the pioneer Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Force Intelligence Unit, a Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Force Criminal Investigations,and later Operations before his retirement in 2010 after a meritorious service to the nation.  A man of great proportions, the late DIG during his period of service featured pro...
