 ANAMBRA STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL INSPECTS NEW HIGH COURT COMPLEX: EXPRESSES SATISFACTION  By Chinelo Okeke  The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Anambra State, Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, on  Monday, June 1st, 2026, conducted an inspection visit to the state's new High Court building,Complex currently under construction behind the Judiciary Headquarters off Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka. Nweke led the team of Commissioners that accompanied him to the inspection which are Arch. Henry Arinze, Commissioner for Housing, with Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, Commissioner for Physical and Urban Development. Attorney General toured the facility and expressed strong satisfaction with the progress and quality of work on the project. Speaking during the inspection, Nweke described the structure as solid and befitting of a modern judicial institution. A COMPANY DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER HE STOLE 1,200 BAGS OF BUA SUGAR.

                                            27 year old Wasiu Bello who was entrusted with 1,200 bags of BUA sugar by his employers so that he can deliver it to his employer's customer Aliamen Abubakar,instead he ran away with the goods,sold the goods and abandoned the truck on the road.It was Abubakar the customer that informed the company that he has not received the goods.Wasiu Bello was at last arrested by the police while two other accomplice escaped.Bello Wasiu charged with conspiracy and stealing before a Lagos court sitting in Ejigbo Lagos.The presiding Magistrate,Mrs M.B Folani granted him bail in the sum of N5 million with two sureties.He will be remanded in prison custody  at Kirikiri,Lagos pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.The matter was adjourned till 10 November 2014.Na wahooo.
