  Indian billionaire Gautam Adani charged in US for alleged bribery, fraud Gautam Adani, the chair of Indian conglomerate Adani Group and one of the world’s richest people, whose business empire extends from ports and airports to renewable energy,has been indicted in New York over an alleged multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, United States prosecutors have said. The authorities on Wednesday charged Adani and two other executives at Adani Green Energy, his nephew Sagar Adani and Vneet Jaain, with agreeing between 2020 and 2024 to pay more than $250m in bribes to Indian government officials to obtain solar energy supply contracts expected to yield $2bn in profits. Prosecutors said the renewable energy company also raised more than $3bn in loans and bonds during this period based on false and misleading statements.                   It was reported today wednesday that a vaccine against HIV will be trailed in South Africa later this year 2016 after it met the criteria needed to prove it could help fight the epidemic in Africa.A small trial,known as HVTN100,initially took place in South Africa in 2015 to test the safety and strength of Immunity the vaccine could provide,ahead of any large-scale testing in affected populations.Two hundred and fifty two healthy volunteers were enrolled to receive either the vaccine,known as ALVAC-HIV/gp120,or a placebo to compare the extent of immune response generated.The results were presented Tuesday at the 21st International AIDS Conference in Durban,South Africa.''Thos was precautionary to see if the vaccine looks promising'',CNN reports Linda Gail Bekker,deputy director of the Desmond Tutu HIV Centre in Cape Town,South Africa,and president-elect of the International AIDS Society,who is leading the vaccine trials,as saying.The vaccine stems from

MERCEDES-BENZ,HAS REVEALED ITS SELF DRIVING 'FUTURE BUS',#NO DRIVER.[PHOTOS}.

                   Mercedes-Benz has revealed its self-driving 'future bus' which it says will be the local public transport of the future.The bus runs without the need for a driver.It uses Daimler's City Pilot technology which includes 10 cameras and long and short-range radar systems which help the bus to find its position on the road,and interact with its surroundings.The City Pilot technology integrates the bus with the city's traffic light systems network and has an automatic braking system.The bus will be divided into three zones-a 'service zone' at the front,an 'express zone' in the middle for passengers travelling short distances,and a 'lounge zone' at the back for those staying on for a longer stay.The bus has been tested on a 12 mile {20km} route through Amsterdam in the Netherlands,where it performed without any problems-although there was a driver in the place in case of emergency.More photos below.

               The Lagos State Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs,Muslim Folami has stated that the relocation of the Alade market is irreversible,while commending the traders who had relocated to the new site.The Commissioner ,who disclosed this recently at a meeting with some stakeholders of the market at the Secretariat,Alausa,Ikeja,urged the traders who had moved to maintain peace as the State government is ready to support them at the new location.He said the structure of the old Alade market did not befit a mega city like Lagos,adding that it was part of the reasons the government decided to move the traders to a new site to give room for modern development of the market.The Commissioner explained that the new location was well built with modern facilities to enhance the mega city status of Lagos,adding that ''We don't need an old fashioned market in a mega city''.The Permanent Secretary,Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs,S
