 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria.       About 5 am this morning, the area was filled with crowd who came protest against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo over alleged rape by Timi Dakolo's wife infront of his church at Abuja asking him to step down so that he can face prosecution.The Drama started ,as  one set of protesters were camping against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo,then the other set of protesters were showing their solidarity for him.Well a lot of social media backlash was going to those supporting the Pastor but to be sincere,his innocent until proven guilty.Is just a pity Busola went through this but we should allow the law at this moment to take over from this point.More photos below.

        Senator Ben-Murray Bruce took to social media to show his support for Timi Dakolo's wife Busola who accused Coza Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of raping her in her parents house at the age of 18,few days ago on Y! TV.The Senator wrote '' I am deeply saddened and I stand in solidarity with Busola Dakolo. To put in perspective the enormity of rape crime in Nigeria, one day I was talking to 6 beauty queens, 5 opened up to me that they were raped as children. This and many more reasons are why I set up the Ben Murray-Bruce Foundation, which is solely committed to fighting Sexual/Domestic Abuse in our society. I am saddened by the revelations of Busola, and I am calling for a full-fledged investigation and the accused if found guilty must face the full and maximum wrath of the law.       The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has sounded a note of warning to environmental offenders in the state, saying that his government would not hesitate to make use of the mobile court to deal with environmental offenders. Prince Abiodun who made this known in Abeokuta, while on an inspection to monitor the level of compliance of the people of the state to environmental sanitation, urged the people not to use the period to walk around the town, saying that offenders when caught would be arrested, fined and jailed accordingly. A WOMAN ARRESTED YESTERDAY AFTER SHE STABBED HER HUSBAND TO DEATH IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}.

     Yesterday,  Saturday, 29/6/2019 at about 8:am, Police detectives attached to 33 Police Station Onitsha arrested one Makoduchukwu Ndubisi 'f' aged 20 years of NO. 16 Donking Street, Nsugbe in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State. Suspect allegedly had a scuffle with her husband one John Bosco Ngu 'm' aged 35 years of the same address and stabbed him on his chest with a sharp knife. The scene was visited by Police detectives and victim taken to Boromeo hospital Onitsha for medical attention but was certified dead on arrival by the Medical Doctor. The corpse was deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy. Exhibit recovered and case is under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.One more photo below.

ROBBERS WHO LURE UBER DRIVERS WITH SUYA TO STEAL THEIR CARS ARRESTED BY IRT.{PHOTO}.

        A 34-year-old man, Iwueze Kingsley, has been arrested by operatives of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team IRT in Lagos for stealing a car and other valuables belonging to an Uber driver. The suspect had lured his unsuspecting victim named Clifford Echereode to a bar in the FESTAC area of Lagos on the night of April 22, 2019 under the pretence of needing his taxi service. According to Sources at IRT led by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, Kingsley approached Echereode to pick up his brother, who he claimed was returning to Nigeria from Ghana that night. But moments after engaging his service, the suspect, pretending to be nice, persuaded the victim to follow him to the said bar to take some drinks and barbecued meat, popularly known as suya, while they waited for a few more minutes before heading to the airport. Upon getting to the place, Kingsley, who had perfected his plan, offered the driver the suya he had already laced with a drug
