 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

              The new proposed 19 additional states if added will make Nigeria to be made up of 54 states which i believe for now is not our problem because Nigeria is now faced with a lot of challenges.The recommendation of the new states was made by the committee on political restructuring and forms of Government jointly headed by Ike Nwanchukwu and Mohammed Kumalia.People of Nigeria,do we really need these new states?

               The journalist held in captivity today tuesday by a masked Islamic militant was identified as Steven Sotloof,a U.S citizen.In the new released video on the internent,the mask man who speaks with a British accent said that ''The life of this American citizen,depends on Obama's next decision''.A follow up will be done on these report because the video is yet to be verified.

3 PETROLEUM SMUGGLERS CRASHED AND BURNT TO DEATH IN OGUN STATE TODAY.

           According to sources,today tuesday an accident involving two vehicle killed three petroleum smugglers who were roasted alive.The incident happened when two vehicles being used to smuggle petroleum products collided before catching fire.The smugglers engaged in illegal transportation of petroleum products between the Idiroko Nigerian border and the neighbouring Republic of Benin.The victims,one of whom was simply identified as Fatai,his younger brother and a customer were all burnt alive following the collision.Eyewitnesses said it was while trying to avoid being arrested by security operatives,particularly the Nigerian Customs Service {NCS} patrol team,that the ford bus collided with a Nissan sunny car right infront of  FARIWARD  petrol filling station located at Temitope area around 2am today tuesday.

              22 years old Alfred Ajani a Nigerian but based in London took up a sign to advertise himself because he was determined to set a job.He has applied for over 300 positions since getting a degree in marketing earlier this summer but says he has struggled in the crowded graduate labour market.Determined to land his dream job,he decided to hand out CV's to company bosses commuting into the city of London through Waterloo station this morning.Alfred stood at the entrance to the busy train stationholding a sign that says ''Marketing graduate {BA Hons,2.1 Coventry Uni} ask for CV''.His direct approach received a warm response from commuters,with many stopping to discuss potential positions.Alfred who lives not far from the station said ''I graduated in May and i have been applying for jobs ever since,but it's very difficult at the moment.The only onces that have come up have not really been what i wanted,i'm interested in marketing and advertis

POPE FRANCIS,LOST TWO OF HIS INFANT NEPHEWS AND THEIR MOTHER IN A CAR ACCIDENT TODAY.

                        According to Argentina authorities,two infant grandnephews of Pope Francis and their mother were killed early tuesday when their car slammed into the back of a truck in Argentina.One of the Pope's nephew Emmanuel Horacio Bergoglio,who was behind the wheel at the time of the crash,was in serious condition.The children that died are age eight month and two years and they died with their mother.Vatican Spokesman,Federico Lombardi said ''The Pope had been informed about the accident and was deeply pained.He asks all those who share in his pain to join him in prayers''.Pope Francis has not been back to his native Argentina since being elected Pope in March 2013.The family was traveling on a highway in the central province of Cordoba when their vehicle slammed into the back of a truck and burst into flames.
