 EFCC Taskforce Arrests 34 Suspected Currency Speculators in Abuja Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, attached to the Taskforce on Currency mutilation, Dollarization of the Economy and Forex Malpractice, have arrested 34 suspected currency speculators  for alleged foreign exchange fraud. They were arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a sting operation following credible intelligence about illegal sales of dollars at the Wuse Zone 4 area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.   The suspects are :Usman Mohammed, Abdullahi Nasir, Abubakar Saleh, Mohammed Kabir Ibrahim, Abubakar Ghadafi, Muktar Usman, Umar Abubakar Abba, Yakubu Sani, Aminu Abubakar, Muhammed Suleman Abara, Yusuf Tahir, Usman Lawal, Usman Lawal, Usman Umar, Amina Garba Rola, Muhammed Aliyu, Murtala Haruna, Sani Mohammed, Umar Farouk, Muhammed Sagiuru, Aminu Salisu, Lawal Bello, Munzali Hashim, Jamilu Suleiman, Mustapha Umar, Mubarak Tanimu, Adamu Garba, Mohammed Usman, Bello Musa, Saleh Moha

BOLLYWOOD ACTOR SALMAN KHAN,SENTENCED TO 5 YEARS IMPRISONMENT,FOR KILLING A HOMELESS MAN.

                  Today wednesday,a court on Mumbai ruled that Salman Khan will be sentenced to 5 years imprisonment after he was found guilty of killing a homeless man in a hit and run in Mumbai.Khan was charged with culpable homicide over the 2002 incident,where five homeless people including the victim were run over.Three were also seriously injured.The actor had been on bail since October 25,2002.The court found him guilty of culpable homicide not amounting to murder under section 304-ll of the IPC for an act committed with knowledge that it could result in someone's death.All charges against him have been proven and a Times Now report stated that he was driving the car under the influence of alcohol.Prosecutors accused Khan of slamming into the homeless people after losing control of his Toyota land cruiser following an evening spent drinking at an up market bar.The actor claimed his driver had been driving at the time but a judge in Mumbai court today on wednesday ruled Khan

              According to sources,a pastor identified as Timothy Gabriel from Ihite,Anambra state but he resides at Jakande Estate,Ejigbo where he also uses as his church and where the incident happened.It happened that one of his members of his church {name withheld},before he went to the bank to process the loan,he informed the Pastor whom he regarded as his spiritual father.The pastor promised him that he would offer prayers to God so that the loan would be obtained successfully.When the victim finally got the loan,he informed the pastor about it and the pastor told him that he had a revelation from God that the money was a blood money and if he used it for the business he intended to use it for,it will be unsuccessful.The pastor reported told him that he should bring the money so that he would anoint it and offer some prayers for three days before he would use it to start the business.The victim took the money to him at hi home at Jakande estate in Ejigbo which also served as his

                                      The Nigerian Labour Congress {NLC} Plateau Chapter on monday declared the beginning of the strike from 12:00 midnight,to press home demand for payments of backlog of salary arrears,amongst others.NAN reports that in Pankshin,Mangu,Kanke councils,secretariats and public primary and secondary schools are under lock and keys.As early as 7:00am the NLC,NUT,and NULGE leaders were at the schools and council secretariats and demanded from the security men all the keys to the offices and subsequently locked the gates.Some students who were not aware of the development went to schools only to be stopped and sent back home,while boarding students were seen packing their luggage and heading home.Principal officers of the councils,including chairmen,secretaries and directors,were not allowed access into the secretariats by the Union leaders.Mr Pankyers Benwuk,Pankshin NULGE chairman,told NAN that the strike was indefinite and would only be called off if the st

ABORTION CAN LEAD TO CANCER-F.A.C.H.

                  According to the President of the Foundation for Africa Cultural Heritage FACH Dr Nkechi Asogwa,she warned that abortion can lead to breast cancer in women.She said many cases of breast cancer can be linked to the aftermath of an abortion,done by a lady or a woman.In her own words she said ''When you terminate a pregnancy you end many on going process in the body,such as the preparation of the breast for the secretion of milk.So the tissues that were cut off suddenly would become fragile and they can trigger the information of cancerous cells in the breast.There are about five health implications attached to most of these drugs and that was why they were banned in the west,but here in Nigeria,no one is asking questions''.If you ask me,consult your doctor for any further details concerning these new research,that relates abortion to cancer.
