 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS OF TWO AGENCIES  President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Innocent Bariate Barikor as the Director-General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA). The President has also approved the appointment of Prince Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA). Dr. Barikor is an academic and politician. He was a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015, while Prince Amgbare is a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa State. The President expects that the new heads of these important agencies will discharge their duties with utmost fidelity to the nation and unfailing adherence to the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria.                            According TMz,Rob Kardashian new girlfriend Blac Chyna,was arrested on friday at Austin Airport and it was revealed that cops found two white and gold ecstasy pills inside a sunglasses case in the troubled 27 year old's purse.The Lashed salon owner who was born Angela White,admitted to taking Xanax and drinking alcohol when she caused a disturbance on the Delta flight.After her arrest,Rob Kardashian immediately drove 26 hours and 1,400 miles from Los Angeles to Texas to collect her.The site also reports that the Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna who was a former stripper are currently pitching a reality series to star in together.Their romanceraised eyebrows because Rob's half sister Kylie Jenner is the 18 year old girlfriend of rapper Tyga,Chyna's former fiance.Tyga is also the father of Blac Chyna's three year old son King.The single mother of one is't letting the incident keep her from hosting monday night's bash at the Ace of Diamonds

MILITANTS TARGETED SOMALIA PRESIDENTIAL PALACE TODAY,BUT IT MISSED & KILLED PEOPLE IN THE AREA.

                     At least one person died and dozens of others injured according to sources,when a salvo of mortars targeting Somalia's presidential palace in Mogadishu missed and landed on a near by neighbourhood today monday.According to sources,the mortars were targeted at the Palace in Wardhigle district but missed and landed in a residential area.A small kid died and more than 10 were injured.This attack has left many residents in a state of shock and fear.No one has claimed the responsibility of the attack but all fingers are being pointed at the al-Shabaab carried out similar attacks in the past.Villa Somalia is a heavily fortified,but neglected compound in the heart of the city where the most senior Somali government officials,including the president,have their offices.Some also live inside the compound.More photos below.                                                                                            

2 SOUTH AFRICAN MEN,WHO BEAT & STABBED A MOzAMBICAN TO DEATH,WERE SENTENCED TODAY.#XENOPHOBIA

                      According to a local media report,the two South African men who beat and stabbed a Mozambican man to death during a wave xenophobic violence in April last year were sentenced to 17 and 10 years  in prison in monday.Mthinta Bhengu and Sifundo Mzimela,who were caught on camera attacking Mozambican national Emmanuel Sithole in a township in the economic hub of Johannesburg,were found guilty of murder in November.Bhengu,who has a previous conviction for violent crime,received the harsher sentence,702 Talk Radio reported.Magistrate Van der Schyff said Bhengu continued to attack the Mozambican vendor even while the victim was begging for mercy,the radio said.Van der Schyff said ''It is not acceptable that a person should be killed in this manner''.The wave of anti-immigrant attacks first surfaced in the eastern Kwaulu Natal Province in April before flaring up in Johannesburg.More photos below.                                                              

7 DAYS AFTER HIS KIDNAP,DEEPER LIFE PASTOR IN KEBBI ''DAVID ONUBEBO'' IS STILL HELD CAPTIVE BY HIS KIDNAPPERS.

                                  According to PM News,seven days after Deeper Life Pastor in Kebbi,David Onubedo was kidnapped,his yet to be released by his abductors,even as the kidnappers have slashed the ransom on two occasions.Onubedo was kidnapped last monday in his house in Okene,Kogi State by gunmen shortly after the Monday Bible study of the church which was held in his house.The top Deeper Life pastor was said to have stopped over in his home town on return from the church's Strategic Congress in Lagos when he was kidnapped.The kidnappers established contact with his wife and were said to have demanded N50 million ransom initially period.Sources gathered from close family sources that the kidnappers slashed the ransom to N10 million at the weekend and have now slashed it further to N1 million when they discovered that the pastor God did not have the kind of money they expected./A family source was quoted as saying today monday that the ransom has been slashed to N1 millio

AMBODE REPLACES 58 YEARS OLD TRANSFORMER IN PALMGROOVE ESTATE ON SATURDAY.

                  Lagos State Governor,Mr.Akinwunmi Ambode on saturdaydonated a 500kva transformer to residents of Palmgroove Estate in Odi-Olowo Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area of the State,as part of the ongoing ''Light Up Lagos'' initiative.The Governor also donated transformers to two communities in Alapere and Ijegun respectively to boost electricity supply in their localities.Governor Ambode,who was represented at the handling over ceremony by the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources,Mr.Wale Oluwo,had read about the plight of the residents via a newspaper publication in which they appealed to the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company {IKEDC} to come to their aid to replace their aging transformers.The transformer at Palmgroove Estate,according to the residents,was installed in 1958 and had become problematic in the last ten years,causing it to develop fault on a weekly basis.Oluwo,in his remarks,said Governor Ambode was of the view that if the ele
