  The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval for the commencement of National Diploma (ND) in Nursing Training at the Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing (NAFCON) Kaduna with effect from January 2021. The approval implies that NAFCON will terminate the 3 years nursing training and switch to ND in General Nursing. Additionally, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has included NAFCON in its year 2022 brochure for candidates. Consequently, all candidates seeking admission into NAFCON for 2021/2022 academic session would now go through the University Matriculation Examination conducted by JAMB to be eligible for admission into ND General Nursing.   Benue State Governor, @samuelortom this morning received a heroic welcome at Yandev on his way to worship at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, City of David headquarters, Gboko. Secretary to the State Government, Professor Anthony Ijohor, SAN, led other government officials and political stakeholders to welcome the Governor while hundreds of motorists, also known as Okada, made the welcome historic. Governor Ortom is expected to attend a defection rally after Church in Gboko. Those who came out to receive the Governor were chanting “our Governor, thank you for transforming Gboko with massive roads and other infrastructure”.

  The Lagos Bus Services Limited (LBSL) has called on members of the public not to fall victim to a false online recruitment advertisement purportedly being circulated on behalf of the Agency. According to a statement signed by the Managing Director/CEO of LBSL, Mr. Idowu Oguntona, the online advertisement did not emanate from LBSL, neither was it sponsored on behalf of the company by any Agency. While urging members of the public to disregard such advertorial, he advised the citizenry to always verify the source or sources of employment vacancies before taking any action on them. Oguntona emphasised that when LBSL decides to recruit staff, it will be duly publicised through all the State government channels and social media platforms, adding that the general public should be wary about online recruitments by faceless and dubious minded individuals, who are out to scam innocent individuals.
